Hey I saw your comic with Skiecrow's on smackjeeves just wanted to say I really loved it and am already a huge fan! I can't wait to read more ^^
and a weird coincidence I just noticed I actually am just finishing up my first year in animation at sheridan college ^^ and I'm aspiring to draw graphic novels as well, so I find what you two are doing really inspiring to me! ^^

Hey there! I saw some of your art in the halls of Sheridan and was curious if you had your portfolio that you submitted to get into animation anywhere! I'm trying to get into animation(again) this year so I'd like to look at successful applicants! Your art is really inspiring!

I'm sorry, I don't know where that thing has gone. It was four years ago that I applied so the portfolio has been lost to the bowels of my apartment somewhere. I can tell you that a structural understanding is probably the biggest thing they're looking for and that style is otherwise irrelevant (though it wouldn't hurt to steer clear of anime - it's harder to learn structure using that style, and easier to draw anime well once you've learned the basics). The storyboard is more about clear communication of a story than the quality of the artwork. Go to lots and lots of life drawing classes too - it definitely made the biggest difference in my work. Sorry that's probably all pretty obvious XP
