Hi!
I was wondering.. I'm making a website, a sort of guide on pixel art online.. It includes information on history of pixel art, the community, the differences in styles/techniques etc..
But there's also a part that has tutorials and resources, where people can find all kinds of tutorials, bases, pallets etc.
Would you mind if I named a couple of your tutorials/resources on there (with link to the full file here on DA)?
I'm not open yet, but almost finished ^-^

What a cool idea for a website-- it sounds like it will be a great resource for new pixel dollers (and provide some fun nostalgia for the old-timers 
You are welcome to link to anything in my gallery you think might be useful-- but I don't really have any tutorials.Β It was always something I wanted to do but never quite got around to.Β And now I've been away from pixel dolling so long that *I'd* probably need a few good tutorials to create anything halfway decent...

Your bases make me wish I knew how to do skintones...I really like all of them and want to use them, but alas! I have no skills to make them more than an outline....If you ever decide to add skintones, give me a hollar! P.S. your work is amazing.

I actually used to offer bases that had skintones but shading/highlighting skin is one of my worst obstacles when it comes to pixeling and I found that other dollers were actually going out of their way to remove and redo the tones I had created for the bases.
Instead, I decided to remove the skintones altogether. This way experienced dollers can create their own palettes without having to spend a lot of time eliminating my inferior toning. I know it may seem unfair for those who struggle with skintones but, struggling myself, I see lineart bases as a good method for practicing weak skills and making them stronger.
So, no, I won't be adding skintones but I do encourage you to keep practicing and learning new techniques for making your own! It can be a slow process but it's so worth it! ^_^

Sorry for being gone so long- I meant for it to be about two weeks and it's turned into months! Iβve got two accounts; one for pixel work and one for fanart (unfortunately, Iβve been neglecting them bothβ¦).
Iβm trying to get my inboxes cleared up before New Yearβs and start 2011 with a more organized approach but Iβve been absent for a long while so tackling my messages is kind of intimidatingβ¦ but I will prevail!
