Dear lucky random deviant!
You've been hit from the love of a RDHH (Random Deviant Hit Hour), where I go and send this message to random deviants for an entire hour!
Don't know how I do it? Well I just click on "Random Deviant" on the frontpage, and pronto! devART sent me to you
Zack, your friendly devART deviant.

Thanks for the "Eternal Sailor Moon" comment!
Actually, you may be right-the wings might be transparent, but the pic I used wasn't clear, so I went with what seemed right.

Doesn't always seem a dream when shooting models-never seem to get the pose exactly right, muscles get cramped, light are hot, after it's over, there always a big sigh of relief!

Thanks for your comments on "Senshi of the Island Worlds" and favorites pic!
There actually is an entire genre of fan senshi artists out there, even a club that was disrupted by the recent DA renovation. I was inspired enough to do "Sailor Dione" (seen on my website [link] in the 'Pixie' Gallery. Also Sailorarachine's art-she's visited my gallery many times, and is one of my inspirations going back to Mediaminer days.
As for being popular, after 3 years of trying and failing, I've come to the conclusion that anime fans want anime art. There is a definite gap between east and west here, as older generation (my own) westerners see anime as kiddy cartoons, and easterners are rigid enough to disdain anything "different" in art, especially in anime. Older viewers like my work, but not the subject matter- I recently won an award at a Sci-Fi con-in the kids choice catagory! And I occasionally get hate mail from hardcore anime fanatics. As I mentioned in my journal, I'm going back to astronomical art.

Neil and Adrian played the Twins in The Matrix Reloaded. They're 33 years old, so I could hardly picture them in a "boy band". ^_^

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.
Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill
spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

Hey there thanks for the comment, I am in oz too, you think we are the desert country, well probably technically yes we are
But I think us Aussies are attatched to water more than anyone in the world, take a look at a hot afternoon for example, I think you would find a significant proportion of the population down at the beach cooling down.

thanks much for the link
yeah, I would have been about 7 years old and already an expert on the space shuttle (I wrote a book on it for school later). I remember being pretty devastated. I was going to do a similar sketch along those lines, maybe I still will.
take care
