Sadly I can't myself fix it, since I'm not so good with those kinds of programs, but I know you can lower the size using sites such as ezimba or others programs for editing photos, even though some of them may lower the quality too!

Oh, sure! 
Some of them can't be used as icons because dA doesn't accept of the size, wich can't be more than 15 kb. But idk how to fix that. ; v ; So if dA lets you use the icon, go ahead, you're free to use them!

I guess you're having trouble with the image size (or weight, idk ww) , if it's that, you have to lower the archive gif to 15 kb!
