Hey man!! I saw you at Art Love Magic last night outside the coffee house!! I was the chick with the black jacket n striped hood. I was with my asian friend and my bf, you probably didn't see us there though I just wanted to say that watching you create those pieces were extremely great an inspirational to me I hope i can see you perform at Underground on the 30th! I'm definately going to every event ALM has
p.s. you hair is kickass and, I didn't get a chance to show my art to any of the artists there, except for one of the guitarists of Lenny's New Legs... i'd be greatful if you would check out some of my art and tell me what you think ^^ ------------------->[link]

Thanks! Im glad you liked it. Unfortunately i wont be painting at Underground though. Mostly the whole show is inside and no one is comfortable with me doing it indoors anywhere yet. Im hoping to convince everyone that it will work inside soon though. I will be at the show however but mostly just volunteering and helping out one of the artists. Plus ill be there with my camera shooting the event as much as i can.
We started dyeing my hair a few months back specifically for my fairpainting and i still have some ideas to make it even better!
P.S. Just looked at you page and i do remember you now. The wind kept blowing smoke in your face. You have some pretty cool work. ArtLoveMagic is always interested in getting new artists so if youre interested theres a few people you could send and email to and let them know you want to be in a show. Theres actually a show coming up in the summer called GirlShow (all female artists, biggest show of the year). You might be able to get into that one and show some of your work.

You're welcome! and darn lol I can't wait till you convince them. I don't see why they won't let you fire paint inside.... It looked pretty safe to me XD oh well.... I'll wave at you if i find you there
I would love to be a part of Art Love Magic sometime.I'll ask about it at Underground. And I'm definately going to the GirlShow ^^ My lil group and i had met Sarah Brown and Keanna Pohl, and Keanna gave us her email. She told us to get a group of people together and she would try to get us a group discount 4 Underground So I have some work to do lol.
Also! I got some pictures of you doing your fire painting the other day. Would it be alright if i posted them on Facebook? I understand if you don't want me to =]

Lol yeah well whenever someone is spraying flames around people tend to get a bit worried about safety. Peopel always ask me about it and especially wonder about the cans exploding. Plus theres the fumes. Im sure it would be safe enough to do inside but i still have some work to do convincing them. Ive also started working on a smaller form of the fire painting that could easier to do and maybe let people be a part of it or something. Ill get it inside someday but it could probably only be at the big events in a large area. Ill be at Underground all night (getting there a 4:00 to help setup) so definitely stop me and say hi. Ill most likely either be getting tattooed or behind a camera at any point during the show actually.
If youre interested in being in a show you should try to talk to a few people. Keanna is a great one to talk to but theres a few others that would be really good as well. Try sending an email to any of these people:
Mike@artlovemagic.com
David@artlovemagic.com
Justin@artlovemagic.com
Deb@artlovemagic.com
Mike, David and Justin are the founders and David is the art director of the group. Deb is another of the major members but right now she is the primary producer for the GirlShow. Ill tell them about you anyway too. Everyone always likes to hear about people that come to the shows and get into it as much as you seem to.
Yeah go ahead and post them! Thatd be cool and id like to see em.

Well i can't wait! a smaller form of fire painting would be really cool how would you do it??? And you're right about people worrying bout their safety..... My main concern with it would have to be asthma But as long as people would stand back, they wouldn't really have anything to worry about ^^
I wish i could help set up!!! lol I will most definately find you! I'm such a creeper....
And thank you very much! I'll contact David and Deb as soon as i can You are super awesome lol
And i'll put the pics on ur wall

Well ive done a smaller form of it and i although i like it i just dont think its as good as the full size thing. The little paintings i had on the table and the ones hanging inside the coffee shop were done smaller. I have quite a few ideas for my firepainting though. I want to try a lot of stuff to make it fit better inside or just do different things with it. The safety issue most people seem to be having is if something goes wrong with the flames or just the fumes but really if im in a good size space that shouldnt be a problem. Obviously i couldnt do it inside the coffee shop or anything like that. LOL
Awesome! Ill have to remember to bring it up at the next meeting too. They all love hearing when people love the shows and get into it so much.

Wow I didn't even see the ones inside oops.... and how big is the Jannette Kennedy Gallery? I hope it's huge so people won't be shoulder to shoulder like at the coffee shop you should bring some of your art to at least display since you can't firepaint inside. That would be really cool!
And i'm thinking about inviting my youth group from church. The youth leader was talking about going to an expensive concert thing on the 30th, but he was unsure. I was going to run it by him last night, but i totally forgot I think it would be really cool for them to go to. I hope I can convince him They would get into it ^^
But anyway yeah ^^

Well they werent inside. It was just the table next to the door right outside. The gallery is a pretty good size and we are using more space then that. Its going to be a lot of space but there will also be a lot of people there. It shouldnt be as crowded as at the coffee shop but ya never know. There is a lot of space though.
That would be AWESOME! If you talk them into doing that then you can probably get a group discount. Not exactly sure who to ask about that but David would probably be a good one to try.

That's a long time to not have posted anything. XD
I'm worn out, but good. I've been going to the gym to get in better shape, but I just don't have the endurance I thought I did. Heh.

dragonhawk573 In reply to FuyuMitsukai [2009-07-24 05:31:04 +0000 UTC]
yeah it really is a long time. not sure why but after al ittle while i just never felt like posting anything. mostly didnt think a lot of my stuff was complete enough or something like that. i dunno. :-/
well thats good. endurance is typically the problem that i have too most of the time. well that and motivation/attention span. i have trouble just working out and not getting bored.

Well, what about some of your fire-painting [do you call it fire-painting?]? I'm sure a lot of people will like that.
Bringing a friend along sometimes helps. I'm wondering if I'll be able to keep myself committed when my friend moves up to the UD dorms. I'll try though.

dragonhawk573 In reply to FuyuMitsukai [2009-07-24 20:28:18 +0000 UTC]
yeah i guess i could post those. and yes that is what i call it. dont particularly like that name but its the best i got :-/
yeah doing it with someone can help. they can help keep you motivated and at least its someone to talk to. i like to exercise but it usually helps if im doing something and not just working out. like doing some kind of yard work, helping someone move, running around in the woods....probably a bit odd tho.
well good luck keeping up with it!

FuyuMitsukai In reply to dragonhawk573 [2009-07-24 22:00:05 +0000 UTC]
Then post them.
And what's wrong with calling it fire-painting? It doesn't sound weird to me.
Naw, that's not odd. Do you have woods near where you live?

dragonhawk573 In reply to FuyuMitsukai [2009-07-25 03:54:59 +0000 UTC]
ill get around to it eventually....
well i dont know....i just seems too plain or something. think maybe there could be something better to call it.
not really. to go off into the woods i usually just go over to bob woodruff park or sometimes have to go a bit farther. dont know any REALLY great places to do it. :-/

No way. I think it sounds catchy. ^-^ Sometimes the simplest words make the biggest impression. Trust me, I know.
Well, Mom had wanted to go to the Outdoor Learning Center to take pictures. I was closed so we went hiking in the area close-by. There's no trails besides water paths, but it's a pretty good work out.

alright well i guess ill stick with that unless something REALLY awesome comes to mind.
oh thats cool. sounds like fun! i havent been to the outdoor learning center in YEARS. kinda thought about going back sometime to check it out again. but yeah hiking can be pretty great exercise and sometimes you can see some cool stuff at the same time.
and hey it was a lot of fun hangin out today. really cool talking to you.

FuyuMitsukai In reply to dragonhawk573 [2009-07-27 00:48:27 +0000 UTC]
The last time we went to the outdoor learning center, we were dropping of a blind squirl that we found. They assumed that we had been trying to keep it as a pet, which seemed like a cool idea to my brother at the time.
Yeah, it was really cool. The mark on my finger hasn't gone away, so it has to be a stain or something. That's no sharpie marker. XD
We should hang out again sometime.
[[Thanks for the watch, btw.]]

aw thats sad to hear about the squirrel :-/ but i have to admit that a pet squirrel does sound kinda cool.
wow i wonder what that could be. hopefully none of those chemicals permanently toned your finger or anything. thats pretty weird.
definitely. thatd be awesome.
[[well you have some really great work ]]
