# About me
I admit, I never received lessons in art or photography (usually obvious to those who are trained in such subjects) and I cannot help but to smirk at the cliché notion that artistic abilities are innate "gifts". Frankly put, my work is a product of fear (fear is simply imagination coupled with anxiety). When the human mind learns to embrace fear, the threat is gone and all that is left is imagination. Imagination leads to creativity and discoveries are just a stone throw away.The completed art (half-completed most of the time) are a glimpse into what once was merely a thought. Every piece I create, every cadaver I have dissected, I did so with the intent of establishing a new technique... not ever focusing on a finished product. In fact, most of the actual pieces I draw end up unfinished and lost somewhere between two anatomy books on my shelf. They become hidden gems that I sometimes stumble upon while referencing medical information.
I hope this work does inspire, educate, and enlighten and not frighten or disgust. Those who are unfamiliar with anatomy, when you study the work carefully, you will notice a beauty beyond skin.
To feel disgust from such art is stating that you fear what you are inside. If you fear what you are inside, what hope do you have of accepting anything beyond yourself?
