Hey 
I've shooted Korn on Tuesday. It was the first time I was shooting a BIG band especially I liked. That was amazing. My happy with my shoot too.

we get every metro n most regional papers here at work....was doing a few queries for the courier mail when I noticed a little article with the first paragraph 'every rock photographers dream'
course I went on to read it etc
all the shots I've seen of her have had decent lighting, noticed she has a show coming up in Nov @ The Metro
I'll have to try cover it
Is she easy to get in contact with? Not sure if the promoter/management allow agency shooters
Have no intention of putting them anywhere cept my portfolio, so I'd rather apply to shoot as myself rather than on behalf of an agency

Ah my shots arent that great. Hehe I must admit thats why I swapped with you. I thought when I chose that possie Kate would be more to my right. But yeah, being right under her nose isnt the best position to take shots. I might have a couple of goodies. But nothing that great.
Also, I am a little spoilt and hate shooting in amongst the crowd. You cant really move around and make your own shot. So you just really have to sit and wait and hope something great will happen, with the lighting perfect and Kate facing you with no mic in front of her face.
So yeah very hard to be just another body amongst the crowd

Yeah I totally know what you mean re: mic in front of her face. I thought that was why you wanted to swap actually, coz I can relate! Haha And yeah, agreed - it is hard shooting amongst the crowd. I had a photo pass for one of Kate's gigs at The Zoo which was cool. But most of the time for gigs, I'm just shooting from the crowd.
The new stuff sounds good, but likewise, look forward to hearing it with the whole band. But I am a sucker for acoustic stuff... so I really enjoyed the set at GoMA!! PS. Thanks for adding me on Flickr as a contact
