Just keep up the good work and I will watch everything you do ................ wait, that came out wrong.
But seriously, your Alola forms are really cool and you can mainly thank them for this watch. Diglet and Dugtrio are very interesting and Jynx just feels obvious. If GameFreak don't give Jynx a new form I will be majorly disappointed.

Exeggutor and Sandslash have always been high on my list of favorite Pokemon so I am off course ecstatic. Now I just want Arcanine, Golduck, Persian, Raichu and Snorlax to get Alola forms and my life would be complete. But I mostly want the most common Pokemon to get new forms like Caterpie, Rattata, Zubat, Geodude and Tentacool. If they get new forms then it might be more fun encountering them a billion times.

That's very true. Having those annoying common Pokemon receive new forms would make me want to catch them again and actually enjoy encountering them.
I love Exeggutor as well and I think I had a Sandslash through one of my recent playthroughs of a game. Might've been Omega Ruby, I can't remember haha. Very happy that they got new forms

There is actually a rumor going around that a dark type Rattata and Raticate are confirmed. That would fit with Yungoos's and Gumshoos's Dex entries saying that they were brought to Alola to deal with the explosive population of a certain other Pokémon (Mongooses were brought to Hawaii to deal with a rat problem).
Maybe there aren't many caves in Alola so Zubats live in jungles like fruitbats and become grass/flying, Geodude could live close to volcanoes and become part fire type and I would love it if there were maybe no Oddish on one of the islands and that is why Tentacool has crawled on to land and become the dominant grass/poison type in the jungle area.
And Caterpie could do the opposite and go to the ocean. It could live on the beach and be a bug/water type. Butterfree's wings could become more fin-like. Maybe it could have the same colour pattern as a butterflyfish. Or the exact same pattern as Finneon. Although I don't know what evolutionary advantage that would have since making yourself look like a harmless fish would not be very wise. Unless it was actually the other way around and Finnone is the one making itself look like a dangerous bug that disperses dangerous chemicals with just a few flaps of it's wings.

i don't mind the script set up, but i just really hate albus and how he drives the plot??? the whole misunderstanding plotline is too overused for my liking

Yes indeed. I haven't started it but I was pretty sure this book wouldn't "recapture the magic" (Pardon the pun) of the previous books.
Hopefully the play itself will be better. I have been in two plays in my local theater (Little Red Riding Hood and Aladdin) and the script for those two were vastly different from the finished product. And you couldn't read the personalities of the characters correctly from that. The actors and the director are the ones that really give the play it's charm.

And I am subscribed to Clevver Movies so I saw that a while ago. Still very exciting.
Your brain is melting? Snow has just arrived in my hemisphere. Even started humming a few Christmas songs.
Can't imagine what it is like over there. I like the cold. The first time I went Spain all I did for the first few days was complain about the heat. And it wasn't even above average heat, I was in Mallorca which is much cooler than the mainland.

I don't buy that type of soup. I make my own.
But I have tried that store-bought version and there are too many types to say that they all taste terrible. Most of them are pretty bland but if you add a little piri-piri or other spices, it becomes a good quick meal.

I am not sure if it is very specific to Iceland but my grandmothers lobster soup is definitely my favourite, with my dad's Mexican-style chicken soup being the second. Those are the only cream-based soups that I actually like. Usually I prefer more water-based soups like noodle-soup or minestrone. At least for a more everyday meal, those first two are usually reserved exclusively for birthdays (In the case of the chicken soup) and big holidays as a starter (The lobster soup).

My mouth's watering! It sounds so delicios :'''D
lobster soup, oh lord! I can just imagine how nice
it is ///
Well, I usually have some more common, Asian soups.
Corn soup is just a cream soup with corn and small
bits of chicken. I eat tomato soup quite often too!
It's, uh, tomato sauce mixed in water??? I've never
been sure how to make it.
We usually have potatoes, carrots and beef with it.
Sometimes we have a clear soup with the same sides
If we're on the subject of noodles, Mi Goreng is the
best. Especially with some spice in it. I've personally
never have been a fan of spicy food, but this is my
exception.

I wouldn't consider myself a huge fan of spicy food but I always drop a few drops of Tabasco sauce into spaghetti, lasagne and tortillas. 50% of all of my home cooked meals are those three dishes because I am lazy and those are some of the easiest meals to make.

I'm frightened of Tabasco. I usually have powered(?) chili
in my meal, because i'm too chicken for the actual thing.
in relation to my cuisine taste, i'm almost like a half-asian girl

elmsi In reply to pinpale [2015-12-07 13:10:08 +0000 UTC]
I think you mean powdered. And powdered chili can be hotter than tabasco, it all depends on how much you use. In my opinion it is actually hotter since I usually put more of something if it is in powdered form than in a more sauce form.
I think there are only two Asian-themed restaurants in my town and I have never been to either of them. I do like Asian food but the store-bought things are not nearly as good as the "real" thing you find in restaurants. The last time I went to an Asian restaurant was in April for a friend's birthday. An Indian restaurant that was one of the most expensive restaurants I have ever been to. And in April I am usually very strapped for cash because I usually make most of my money during summer jobs. The previous fall I had been on a shopping trip to Minneapolis and my friends and I almost emptied out a whole mall.

I'm Victoria. I live in Australia, and I have a lot of careers I'd love

I am a high-achieving student, and try to join as many educational

Harry Potter, Hetalia and Homestuck are my main fandoms, and I will

I have heard of both Hetalia and Homestuck but I have only really checked out the Hetalia anime.
I didn't really get into it as much as I hoped. I love geography, history and culture so I thought Hetalia would be great. I don't actually remember why I didn't give it a shot. Maybe I will give them a second shot.
Homestuck on the other hand. All I know is that it is about some kids that create a video game that causes an apocalypse. But I could have gotten that from reading the Wikipedia page.

Well, both are pretty good! I recommend both!
Although Hetalia isn't 100% accurate, it wasn't meant to be.
It was just a comedic anime, not an educational one.
And Homestuck's just that. It's pretty good though! It can train
your brain xD
What house are you in?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
elmsi In reply to pinpale [2015-10-16 09:47:01 +0000 UTC]
By house I assume you mean in Hogwarts.
Well, that is a very complicated question. I have for a long time thought that I belonged in Hufflepuff. I am a big believer in fair play, patience, kindness and tolerance. I have always thought those were my best qualities. But then I took the Pottermore sorting hat quiz and it kept putting me in Gryffindor. And it kept putting one of my friends, that I always thought belonged in Gryffindor, into Hufflepuff.
It made me re-evaluate everything about my life. Am I more brave than patient? More chivalrous than kind? Am I more just than loyal? And after a lot of soul searching I came to the conclusion that I must be a natural leader. Every time I go out with my friends are I am around people that are even the slightest bit insecure, I immediately take charge. For example, my friends and I are going to London in December and I have been planning everything while my friends just stand by and let me. And you know what? I don't mind. Because I love being in charge.
I love planning, coordinating and fair play. Wait... that is a Hufflepuff trait. And the other two are actually Ravenclaw traits. And their traits are also very much like me. Creative, believe in wisdom, originality, individuality and acceptance. And now I am back where I started. Honestly I have to say that I have no idea. The only thing I do know is that I am not definitely not a Slytherin.
What about you? Have you tortured yourself over this question as much as I have?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
pinpale In reply to elmsi [2015-10-16 09:59:17 +0000 UTC]
I have too!
Quizzes say that I obviously belong to Ravenclaw, but after a
bit of thought, I've thought not. I have traits from all of the
Houses.
I take charge when other don't, and have always been described
as chivalrous from my teachers.
But I'm also compassionate, and believe highly in fair play. I am
loyal, and hard-working.
And yet I'm intelligent, and sometimes have a disregard for rules.
But I say that I'm a Ravenclaw. I couldn't think of myself as anything
else! I'm defiantly not brave, and can be a bit of a prat when I'm in
the mood. And my disregard only goes so far.
Plus, I love riddles >:] And facing them every day would be quite fun!
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
elmsi In reply to pinpale [2015-10-16 12:20:48 +0000 UTC]
And actually the sorting hat does take your choice into consideration and which attributes you believe in. Hermione is clearly a Ravenclaw but she believes in bravery and loyalty above all else. Crabbe and Goyle are far from resourceful, cunning and clever but they believe highly in those qualities, even though they don't have them, and that is why they are in Slytherin.
So which house you are sorted in isn't necessarily the one you fit best in but the one you believe the most in. Which is why I would definitely be in Hufflepuff, because even though I am brave and chivalrous like a Gryffindor, clever and with leadership qualities like a Slytherin, creative and wise like a Ravenclaw, most of all I am patient, kind, tolerant and loyal. At least, those are the qualities I most highly regard.
And since you couldn't think of yourself in anything other than Ravenclaw, you would most certainly be placed there because your view of yourself is what matters the most.

I read the first book this summer. I'd definitely be Amity (The Hufflepuff of the Divergent world). ,,They love music, art, games, and laughter. They give hugs when greeting." There is no way that doesn't describe me perfectly. Even though I would describe myself as brave, I feel like the Dauntless are too stupidly brave. A Dauntless wouldn't work without being a Divergent, mixed with another faction. Without the selflessness of Abnegation or the intelligence of Euradite, a Dauntless would probably get himself killed pretty quickly.

Yes! I'm Amity as well uvu!
Although I might be Abnegation, but I'm not entirely selfless.
Isn't the faction-choosing system a bit dumb? 1000 or so children
sorted into a faction one at a time. And the bowls aren't even bloody,
same as the knife, so does that mean the bowls are swapped and the
knife is wiped?
lol, i feel so sorry for the person that has to do so

That was just the people that turned 16 in that year. I wouldn't imagine that number being as high as 1000. Although thinking about it. 100 might be too low. The society in the Divergent series seems to be about as big as my home town. And judging by that then I am guessing that the amount of kids turning 16 could be around 400 at the most.
