ii. She sits rather uncomfortably at a Nohrian round table, her soft kimono suffocating as countless important Nohrians and Hoshidans alike socialize. If they were in her home country, she could simply retire to her quarters on the pretense of feeling unwell. Unfortunately, with a different country comes different proceedings. She can't simply leave, lest she alert Sumeragi something was the matter.
iii. As such, she continues sitting at that blasted Nohrian table, eyes scanning the extravagant ballroom for her husband, her eldest son, Queen Katerina- honestly, the sight of anyone familiar would soothe her nerves.

⚜ Political parties aren't that unusual for Nohr. The kingdom prides itself upon good relations and, with the abundance of wealth throughout, such feats here and there are hardly a threat to anyone, much less to the Royal family. They provide an opportunity for bonds to strengthen and for the people to take a break from their duties- if only for a night. Katerina is one of the many who find solace in crowds and socialization; her husbands company often becomes tiresome (as much as she loves him), and seeing friends from wider regions is always somewhat of a small delight.
⚜ For that, the moment she spots Ikona she had quickly (and politely) sent an enthusiastic noble on his way, easing her way through the crowds in order to make her way over to the other Queen instead. 
⚜ Her dress makes it somewhat difficult, but she manages, cheeks lightly flushed from the wine and glowing atmosphere within the room. She's not drunk by any standards; merely enjoying herself. If she drank too much and played the fool Garon would never let her hear the end of it.

(( TOTALLY  god there's so little information about her in game but she's referenced a few times
everyone in the kingdom loved her. camilla's mom loved her. apparently she was so kind ???

i'm sure she took great care of xander inbetween her own duties/fighting!! especially with the whole
hell involving the other siblings being killed/the concubines dying. her main priority would be
making sure that her son didn't end up meeting the same fate AND SHE SUCCEEDED 

....except she ended up dying later anyway so she didn't even get to see him grow up. rip
the other siblings mothers aren't spoken about aside from leo's and he hates her
she ignored him so that's. probably a p big indication of her personality
