And so without further ado, I'm very happy indeed that you approved of Hydrya's makeover (it took some time for me to get used to it ) and I'm doubly glad you checked out the description I wrote! *Which is the source of my arm's stiffness, so I won't be trying a stunt like that for another couple of uploads* ^.^;;; It's nice to know you also saw the line art and what Hydrya looked like before the plague of colour and a misplaced filter did to the details... *frowns at Photoshop* ¬_¬

Yes, I can definitely see where you're coming from in regards to the proportions, I was actually originally thinking of doing a completely different pose and background to get the whole 'big dangerous Goddess' look going, but the other sketches I started got nowhere... *darn it!* ... so I had to settle for something a little less dramatic. It's interesting how you seem to have a nack for noticing things in my art that would've made it better, and it's great receving constructive criticism from an artist I admire! I forgot to say....thanks especially for the comments on "Grafted", concerning how the arm-metallic claws don't seem to connect right. Criticism is so much more helpful than praise, as flattering as the latter is; but you only get better with the first! I just thought I'd extend an extra 'thank you' for that....I originally signed up on deviantart so that I could get constructive criticism, but I think you're the first thus far to actually help me out like that!

Anyhow, when I originally set out to do it, I didn't really know how to make her arms connect to the claws; I wanted to make it look like they were oversized punching gloves or something, but not quite as clumsy. I've been sketching out that particular character quite a few times since then, and now I know what to focus on! ;D
