Not really. I also do Final Fantasy, as it is my favorite, as well as requests when I have the time. I'm planning on doing commissions also, but I don't think my skill is of commission quality.
In short, I don't just do Miku stuff; it's just what I like doing most. For example, right now, I'm working on a Pokemon illustration, as a tribute to my other favorite RPG.

Just read the most recent Mikuwatch update about the cleanup, I'm very sorry to see another Custom DLC creator falling to MMD. There really are too many MMD people out there to the point that looking for honest Custom DLC producers is a major chore. You see a great looking module and think ooh I'd love to play that in game only to find out it's not a module it's some unplayable thing and then you've wasted your time and lost track of where you were in a long list of mostly unplayable things that have no real purpose. I'm very sorry I feel that way but I feel the PD psp games still have a lot of life in them I just wish people weren't abandoning them especially so soon after Extend's release. There were 6 custom dlc makers on deviant art, Nightsail, Pikazapper, Fatwave, Yoshidashte, UTAUloquendero, and LapisAoKi that I know of now there are 5 so sad... I wish I knew of more but they are lost in the miasma of MMD i'm afraid.

Oh yeah, I don't mean to offend, and I'm not so much of an expert. MMD models may seem to have no purpose to you, but many find it useful in so many things which depends on how type of supporting you do with Miku.
If you're mostly a gamer for Project DIVA, then it would be ENTIRELY useless. Keep in mind though, that while Project DIVA is pretty big in the VOCALOID community, it's not what it is about. For me, the Project DIVA series is a BIG amount of icing on the cake; absolutely good. The first thing however, that got me in the community though, is its MUSIC, which I am unable to produce, so as a supporter, I tried finding another way, and that is through illustrations and 3D models that probably no one ever looks at.
My point is, while I don't heavily emphasize on the creation of MMD models, it's pretty much invaluable to both professionals and amateurs alike, and how it expanded the VOCALOID community.
I create whatever form of art I can possibly create to support specifically Miku; if I'll be able to include Custom DLCs in them with no fear of getting banned forever from doing so, then I would, and I would distribute them.

Between you and me, I really haven't stopped making Custom DLCs (I'm in the process of making another one actually, ahaha, oh yeah, Yoshi's a good friend of mine).
The only difference though, until proven safe (un-illegal), I won't distribute the Custom DLC files.
It just so happens that I'm trying to get into more official matters, such as, for example, submitting character designs/screens, etc for Project DIVA f 2nd, and if SEGA sees whatever I've been doing to their modules and distributing them, I don't know what will happen.
Oh yeah, I really haven't gotten into MMD model creation/editing nor even animation (much); the main purpose of me "cleaning up" is to keep my place as legal as possible; I don't want to be barred forever supporting Miku because of copyright issues.

I'm always looking for new modules to try in PDE and 2nd haven't been having much luck lately. Those "gold mines" are getting harder to find now it's down to pestering confirmed CDLC makers for long lost modules that have been pulled or discontinued for some unknown reason.
Also waiting for a CDLC maker to make the girls from Luckystar btw if you are interested >.> there are 4 Grand Prix figures that were released by Banpresto that are obnoxiously expensive but might look good as modules in game >.> I would ask but I'm afraid i've offended you and so I'll suggest and hope instead... I know Miku and other vocaloids have made appearances in that anime and some of the characters have cosplayed as Vocaloids as well. It would be cool I think but I'll probably just end up drawing them instead >.< anyway here's hoping.
