i love the way you work with oils, your composition, and your subject. the figure is one of the most difficult things to paint and i admire people that can do it so well

Thanks for all the comments, they are much appreciated. I used to use charcoal pencils, but then I moved and I couldn't find a store that sold the same kind of charcoal. Now I use the ebony jet black pencil for all my drawings. I got used to it after a while and it kinda changed my style. I just press down real hard with them and go over areas a lot to get them real dark. I figured out why the textures were messing up tho. It was because I was using the side of the lead. If I use the very tip to shade, the textures look fine. Anyways, thanks again for the comments.
