If you want to try something fun with your washes, drop a little fine salt on one when it is still wet. Alternately, try just a drop of soap - it changes the cohesion of the water.

Ooh, I hadn't thought of soap! My boyfriend has done salt washes to some interesting effects, but soap I never thought of! I'll experiment with that later! Thanks!
