Spidertongue thoroughly enjoyed this kind of weather. Muggy, cold, dark. It all worked perfectly in helping to keep his fur styled just right. He stared down at his reflection in a puddle and gave a satisfied smirk. "you look quite delicious darling." swatting the water he stood and stretched. The slender tom was taller than the average cat, towering above most. He loved this about himself. It gave him a sense of power. Spidertongue turned away from the water and began to pad along the leaf littered ground. His paws squished in the mud and he let out an annoyed growl. "disgusting..." Suddenly his attention was drawn to a shaking bush. His eyes narrowed and he crouched low to the ground. It sounded to big to be a mouse, to small to be a fox, what was it.... Slowly he stalked towards the noise and lept forward as a small white figure emerged.

The short, quiet feline gave an annoyed sigh swishing her long tail as she looked back. bunnyfreckle looked down with her round bright blue eyes and her fur  of a sudden fluffed up when she turned with a jump to see the massive warrior, she gave a shriek, "WHAT THE-" she gasped, almost falling over in surprise as she stared up at the giant tom with her ears flattened and her long tail fluffed out in surprise. Her little heartbeat thumping quickly in her pretty fluffy chest with a panic.

"a bit skittish are we darling?" Spidertongue stared down at the little she-cat. He smirked and lowered his face to hers. "don't worry... I don't bite... Hard." Throwing his head back in a cackle he backed off of the she-cat, picking her up by the scruff to set her steady on her feet. "you're a pretty little thing aren't you... Wonderful fur coloration, perfect length and style..." He began to circle around the she-cat, scrutinizing every inch of her. "you smell like a warrior...but you have the height of an apprentice. I've never seen a cat like you before... Fascinating..." He stopped in front of her and placed a paw gently beneath her chin, lifting her head so his bright orange gaze met her blue one. "what's your name darling?"

Her fur was standing on end as she tried to keep her breathing normal, his voice was smooth, sharp, and offensive, like it was piercing at her, her tail was rigid at his biting remark, her ears flattening at his cackle, wiggling her short legs helplessly as he lifted her by the scruff, grunting as she was plopped back down. She felt completely violated as he started 'complimenting' her in a mocking tone. And there it was, the height of an apprentice remark, she huffed at it, not even paying attention. Who the hell did this tom think he was? Well he was a massive size, there was nothing she could do, he could easily kill her if he wanted to, the thought made her eyes widen as he lifted her head. She furrowed her eyebrows, yanking her chin away from his paw, "Bunnyspeckle" she hissed, "And you have quite the nerve straying onto territory that you do not reside from" she sheathed and unsheathed her claws in the dirt, staring away from him at the ground, she didn't like the way he looked at her, scrutinizing and labeling her. She would have sounded more threatening if her voice wasn't such a soft mumble. She tried to slowly take a step back, nervously, not looking at him as her whiskers and ear tips quivered nervously.

He took a step back as she hissed. "my dear I didn't mean to offend you! I was only stating how unique you are!" He sat back on his haunches, tail wrapping around his paws. "speak up Bunnyspeckle, it's not appearance that matters, it's how you use your voice and your build to your advantage! I bet you're very quick on your paws aren't you?" He lifted his front paw and flexed his claws in and out. "maybe I'd be a bit more wary if warriors from your clan weren't so...timid."

"I......I um" she narrowed her eyes as she kept her gaze to the ground. His words seemed surprisingly meaningful, but she still felt frightened and on edge as to why he was speaking this way. he didn't know if he was mocking her or not and it made her uncomfortable "I-I am not timid" she looked up, trying to raise her voice a little bit, wrapping her tail around her paws nervously as she flattened her ears, "I-I can defend myself and" what rubbish lies she was telling herself. She was a worthless addition to her clan, nothing to be proud of, she was small enough to be prey.

He lifted his head slightly. "Bunnyspeckle, I see great potential in you. I bet all your life people have made you feel worthless just because of your size... Am I right? Of course I am." he stood up and began circling her, "I bet they call you pipsqueak and shorty and tell you you're good for nothing. What do they know? You can be better than any of them Bunnyspeckle... With a little help of course.." The large tom sat beside the tiny she-cat, placing one front leg around her shoulders and sweeping the other paw in a horizontal motion in front of them. "imagine it... You could be feared and respected by any cat you come in contact with. When they hear your name they will quiver. They will bow. I could help you Bunyspeckle." He walked away from her a few paces, and looked at her over his shoulder. "so whatdoya say darlin? Let me help you? One cat to another?"

" Wh-why are you telling me these things? why would you want to help me?" she wrapped her tail around herself insecurley, "I-I don't want others to fear me, I just want to be treated like everyone else, I-I just want to be seen as normal for once but there's nothing I could do about that" though deep inside his offer did sound tempting, she could never accept, "You are a complete stranger from another clan who knows nothing about me, and I doubt a stranger would sincerely wish to help me, I appreciate your...kindess.. but.... your offer is scaring me"

He gave her a final smirk before shooting off into the darkness silently.
