My advice would be to study blending, proportions, do a bunch of studies, get acquainted with the anatomy of things, USE REFS!! and just have fun! You'll get there with work and dedication I'm sure! <33

Just took a look at it and you're so helpful omg! You have inspired me to work harder Β Also I have a question, if it's okay! SO I just made the big switch (well, not that big) from Paint Tool SAI to Photoshop CS6! However, maybe it is just me, but does photoshop not have a brush blending tool? In SAI, to smoothen skin and shaded areas, we could use that brush along with the blur tool for a nice smooth face or texture. Is there alternatives on Photoshop or is it just put a bunch of colors for the face and hope it goes well? haha thank you if you reply! you're so nice! (plus you're a fellow jimin fan) Β

Heyy! Actually I do think the switch from sAI to ps is pretty big ahah and it does have a blending tool! Tho I'd recommend not using it, or at least not relying on it like you'd do with SAI because it doesn't work the same. But it's called smudge tool! And it's under the blur tool (the little raindrop)Β
I really would advise to just blend using soft brushes and pen pressure! It comes out much nicer and textured

That's good! Working hard is really the most important thing, as well as having fun of course~~
hummm blending.. i find that finding the right brush is important but also using and abusing the pen pressure
setting on the tablet! and using a light hand when colouring OH also the color picking tool!! Yes knowing theΒ
shortcut to that tool is the most important thing!! also to use and abuse!! Good luck love! <33

Ah and one more question if you don't mind π Is there a way to organize the brushes ? I've downloaded many from various helpful sources and it's just a mess! It would be so much easier if I could organize them

I have a way to "organise" them by putting filler brushes in the middle. Like a blank brush or something, do several of those and put them in between the brush packs!! I hope it helps <33
