I just got your Filthy Dirty Future Iray Shader and am disappointed that there are no direction of any sort on how to use them. Especially the items in the Utility folder - when to use them and with which items? What is a Render Setting 09 vs. a Render Setting 04? What is the Transparency Fabric for? And Cutout Opacity?Β
you say on your product page: "You're just a few clicks away from adding dirt and filth to any scene. Add a lot or add just a little, this shader set lets you decide!"Β Which isn't entirelyΒ true. What you SHOULD say is " AfterΒ spending multiple hours figuring out how to use this product you're just a few clicks away from adding dirt and filth to any scene. YOU may or may not get to decide on ho much or how little you can add to a scene if, in the end, you throw up your hands and give up... but IT IS possible!"
I think the product is a wonderful idea so I will give it what I effort I can, I'm just disappointed is all.

I bought your flower shader pack two days ago and I must say, that I love this one as well! While many patterns are "too flowery" for big areas for me (I knew that before, so this is no complaint!), they work beautifully for accenting clothing as my next picture will show. I have no idea when this will be finished as I will have a very busy weekend but... well, thank you for your hard work!

You are very welcome!Β Β I am so glad you are enjoying them.Β I'm always delighted to see my shader packs turning up in your renders.Β To tell the truth a lot of the flower materials are "too flowery" for most of my renders as well, although I do occasionally want one.Β I just thought they would be something a lot of the market would enjoy, and I have fun doing something a little floofy once in a while.
