# About me

I,ve loved to draw from the time I could pick up a pencil, (or a lipstick, according to my mom). My first influences were comic books, and later on cartoons, movies, and then anime. I wanted to be an artist when I grew up, though I didn't know what it would take to make that dream a reality. I haven't found a career in art but I never stoped drawing, and buying art instruction books, and getting a computer, a wacom tablet, (which I was so happy when I made my purchase) and finally getting Adobe Photoshop because most of the instruction books I found refer to that program. I did take a two-year coarse in commercial art, much of what I learned is now obsolete because computers were not that big and the internet did not exist. I did learn something from the coarse, some good drawing skills but not exactly what I was hoping for. I love the internet! I love finding art instruction on YouTube and on Deviantart.com,( I'm thankful for those who create tutorials for deviantart. I can use all the help I can get. Thank you). So I'm going to give this a try.
