Im a young artist just trying to make my bland highschool understand the importance of art.I have A LOT to learn but art is one of the only things that keeps my head up.
I deperately want to breakfree from this small town and leave my mark on the world.

i took the picture
we just need to add some like tattoo-ish looking designs on the bottom
its tough cause i have this image in my head and itll be hard to get you to like do the same thing

I read your caption under your photo.And even though im older and not in high school.I was at one time,lol and am looking for the same things.I've traveled around the world and some how ended up back in this small town that has barely any interest in art.All id like is to make a mark on the world with my work and hopefully it will inspire others to strive to do the same.There is always a shortage of people afraid to follow their dreams but never a shortage of ones to tell you you're wrong for following yours.Remember their afraid to break free,they all do whats safe,what their told is the normal thing to do.Their dreams are just that,dreams.To me that's just nonsense.If you want something bad enough and you work hard enough dreams do come true and one person can change the world.You have your whole life ahead of you,just keep up the hard work.Take care.

and i know all to well what you mean, by those who say youre foolish for having dreams.
my father was an artist. he graduated from massart but today he has fallen into the machine of society. He doesn't create for his own enjoyment. he doesn't have imagination or life. he just does what he needs to in order to get by. He was afraid to break free. And that is not how i want to end up. I want to continue to learn even after college and i want to let my ideas inspire others.
i am touched that you would even spend the time to type that.
that in itself is you changing the world, even if it is by encouraging one highschool student at a time. so dont give up. you are never too old to change your life.

my guerilla art back to me.
i've put a lot of things around my town promoting art and what not..
but the graffiti aspect of it is illegal so i try to keep myself on the DL :]

I'm not the greatest artist, so flat out "graffiti" is probably out of the question, but I liked the notices in the trees and the art in the bottle. I think that cities should organize groups of young artists to decorate walls and windows, etc. all through town to spice it up a little.

if you are beginning to work with photoshop, my advice would be searching for the tutorials.
Be cause when i started to play around with photoshop, i didnt understand a thing, and thats what tutorials are for, i guess.
