I know the feeling, there are a few people who's tattoo's I've been "working on" I wish there was an art group at school for people to just sit down with a bunch of supplies, some good music and just draw...

Yea, I've been working on one guys for a couple years now. It's getting insane. Kinda left it at home so it'll be a while...
If I had the time, I would join that haha... all the classes here have pre-requisites... my first semester I took in my portfolio and threw it on the desk, and asked why I couldn't take something like Chinese Painting and such. Never got a response haha.

They do, last fall I believe. It had pre-requisites though, which is when I dropped the portfolio on their table. Haven't seen it since, but that's always something I have tried, but never had any luck with. Painting was never my forte, but still something I wanted to do.

painting is wonderful! I'm not super good at it, but it's a very forgiving medium

It is, very forgiving, unless your painting landscapes like I was haha.

Oil mostly, it was what intrigued me the most. Though I was better at water colors cause it's more forgiving... Acrylics never did it to me, could never make it look right.

I've always had so much trouble with water colors, oil is my favorite

I'm doing good. It's the school holidays over here in Australia.I'm guessing high school really is nothing compared to college then? XD
Good luck with the rest of your year.

Lucky! I would kill for some holiday time right now... too much work.
It's actually pretty comparable, it's just when you get to your last year things pick up big time because you have to do your work and figure out where your going in life haha.
Thanks

Lol...I've been watching the 3 kingdoms since I was a kid...but of the Four Great Literatures of China, it's only my second fav...the one I like best is the Water Margin(ζ°΄ζ΅δΌ ...really reflects the corrupt government of the late Song dynasty.
Hmm...so you can read chinese?

I've only seen a couple episodes, one in particular was the courting Zhuge episode, beyond that I can never track it down.
I plan to read some more literature this summer now that I have a bit of time, might have to put that one on order since I overlooked it.
I cannot unfortunately, I should be in Suzhou right now learning how to, but the guy leading the school trip was a word i shouldn't say and cut me a month ago. So I'm probably going to learn some this summer slowly, and a bit more during the school year working on this project of mine.
