Hi impressive droplets!!! :D (Big Grin) can I ask you some questions?

- I want to be able to achieve double splashes and triple, since many people use the drip kit and other expensive gadgets, can you recommend me a way to get these results?

- my flash is a 430exii which syncs to a 1/250 speed max, is there a way to make it go higher? because i really like that i can control my setup in a studio but i think 1/250 is too slow any tips?

i think 1/250 is enough, but im not sure.
I use a selfmade drop machine, which is based on a microcontroller called "Arduino".
Sry, but i only have a german tutorial on how to build all that stuff :/

But DO NOT build the light barrier ("Lichtschranke").
It is completly useless cause you can simply program the arduino to release the shutter after a certain time.
Apart from this, i can´t help you with this electronics- and technical stuff, cause my brother built the "dropmachine" for me.

this is the biggest treasure of waterdrop photography.
In a way, it shows the complete history of waterdrop photography and its progress and you will find most of the best waterdrop photographers worldwide in this thread. If you were german, it would be worth reading all the 750+ pages :D (Big Grin)

hello..
usually i dont have a problem with my work beeing used but the only requirement is that my work is credited anywhere clearly.
What exactly do you want to use it for ?
If you want to use it as a profile image it would be hard to show that its not your own work, wouldnt it ?

erfordert aber eine gewisse Zeit bis alle steht/läuft, vorallem der technische kram...
Hier ist ne Bastelanleitung für die mit dem Arduino verbundene Technik:

Auf den ersten zwei Seiten geht es glaub ich erstmal um die Lichtschranke, diese solltest du aber weglassen weil diese
komplett überflüssig ist.
Auf den Seiten danach wird erklärt wie man ein Magnetventil an den Arduino anzuschließen hat...
Nur falls du vorhast soweit "in die Materie einzusteigen". (weil ohne diese Hilfen hätte ich das wohl nicht hinbekommen).

Ok, ob ich je so weit einsteigen werde, sei erstmal dahingestellt. Wüsste momentan auch nicht, wo ich diese Apperatur unterbringen sollte :) (Smile)
Aber dank deines Journals u. eines Infusions-Sets hat's immerhin hierfür gereicht
