it's ok I got like a 61% on my final bc I don't do shit in math lol

most people are fine except when they start talking about politics and spout out the most racist/homophobic shit ever (they usually have the same political views as their parents), but it's not rare to find non-assholish people who don't make you grit your teeth every time they say something bigoted

also teens really exploit the school system?? like I don't blame them, I blame the system for being so vulnerable but still..do not do that

well in switzerland
like i can say 80% of the ppl here arent swiss
theyre all albanians, kosovars, turkish, bulgarians or bosnians

and some portuguese ppl
but LIKE i think they adapted to the swiss mentality a lot?? the ppl here are so reserved. it takes u like, 7 years to make 1 friend
and they dont like talking to ppl or going up to you
like, if u were a transfer student and you dont know anyone or dont really speak the language
they won't bother to try to integrate you into their groups
you're really just left alone for a long amount of time
and when you finally speak the language, they've already got their STABLE friendship circles/groups made for like 10 years so they dont want you in
but this is my town and its almost the SMALLEST town ever. if it was a little bit smaller it wouldve been a village. but most swiss ppl are like this, just maybe in other towns it's less worse

here people are really accepting but they can also like ask too many questions or dive into your personal space too much because they're nosy or they think it's funny
making friends is really easy but so is making enemies because here you either love someone or hate them,, there's not really an inbetween
it's weird because everything depends on what they think of you. like for example if you were black and had friends here then they'd be ok but if you suddenly stopped being friends with them they'd call you racist slurs and tell you to go back to your own country. I wouldn't say we're generally racist to black people but for some reason that shit peaks up when we hate someone?? idk lol

and due to yugoslavia and the homeland war being things there's a lot of bosnians, serbians and other slavs here. slavs are just everywhere in each other's countries
also our prime minister was born here but he's canadian and we used to make fun of him for not knowing croatian well. goes to show what we're like lmao
