# About me

I would like to share how i see the world with you. My camera should be an extension of me. I have always loved taking pictures; I always took more than pictures than I could afford to have developed. I never really acquired the skill earlier in life so I walked away from photography, but then came digital. Once I got a DSLR I tried once more, but it still seemed to escape me, and I still found myself without my camera. On April 26th 2013 I was diagnosed with Leukemia, I fought for my life. It was then I started to see the difference. I felt drawn to my camera and began needing it to complete the person I always was.

An objective in life for me now is to make my camera my brush and your computer, your wall and even your phone my canvas. I want to tell you a story, the story I see. As I learn, as I grow in skill we will realize this together.

When I pick up my camera, I can always find beauty standing behind it. ~hargrovestrong
