"Looks:
Kirsty isn't a very tall person nor is she a very muscled person... in fact she's quite short, with a habit of slouching and is lacking in the chest department. And to top it all off she's very pale skinned and burns easily, especially around her shoulders, neck and nose... I suppose it comes with having red hair.

Yes, Kirsty is also a ginger, a ginger with hair that's curly, frizzy and hair straighteners don't seem to work on... well they work but eventually her hair springs back to its normal shape so she sort of... gave up on them. Length wise her hair isn't very long, it just touches her shoulders and no more. In order to keep her hair out of her face she's normally seen with two small clips either side so that she can actually do whatever it is she's doing without her hair bothering her. Beneath this head of red hair is a pair of bright eyes that shine a sort of blue-green colour and outlined by long, surprisingly dark eye lashes that give her a faux look of innocence. Running along her cheek bones, under her eyes and across her nose are some rather dark freckles, they stand out against the rest of her paleness.

Kirsty does not have what one would call "fashion sense" instead she's often found wearing her brother's old hoodies, stuff borrowed from her sisters and a pair of tattered black converse. Generally she can be found wearing a light green, zip-up hoodie that's too big for her and the sleeves of which fall over her hands. Said hoodie has been through the wars and she's not ready to give it up yet... in fact on the right side there's a darker green patch where a hole was torn quite some while ago. Underneath her hoodie is a t-shirt, striped cyan and white. On her bottom half she can be seen to wear a black pleated skirt that falls at least an inch above her knee with a pair of black shorts underneath in case it should happen to blow up she doesn't want the whole world seeing her underwear. On her feet, as mentioned are a pair of white ankle socks and a pair of very abused converse. Around her neck, tucked under her hoodie is a small heart shaped locket and her ears are pierced but she rarely wears anything more than silver studs in them.
Persona:
Blunt, cynical, pessimistic are all words one could use to describe the ball of red headed fire that is Kirsty McDowell. If you don’t want her opinion it’s best not to ask for it because, you’ll get exactly what you ask for be it good or be it bad. There are few people she is likely to tone down her bitterly honest opinions for; those consist of her brother and siblings. Anyone beyond the circle of her rather small family get exactly what she decides is the truth.
Kirsty has lived with religious and political dispute in her country for years; in fact she’s still dealing with it today. Even her city is still very segregated and as such causes her to be slightly indecisive over her own views and decisions, though at the moment she’s is leaning heavily towards Atheism but please, avoid the subject of her religious and/or political views lest you want to be subject to her rambling.
Kirsty is rather proud of her heritage and though she does not get along particularly well with anyone who is English, she seems to get along just fine with the Scots. Specifically Edinburgh, they are considered partners in crime and are almost always causing trouble for someone else. She is also close to Scotland and considers him/her to be a parents figure and as such she looks up to them.
Though, to be quite honest, Kirsty is proud in general… too proud and as such she comes off as being a little stuck up and slightly aloof. She dislikes admitting she’s wronged someone, refuses to apologise (Whether she did it or not) and point-blank, digs the heels in and draws the line at telling people when she’s struggling with something.
That last point stems back to her childhood, she was raised by three adults who were often too busy to help her and six sisters who not only had her to take care of but themselves as well, as such it’s made her very independent and reluctant to accept another’s help, even if it is her own brother’s.
Of course she would never tell but Kirsty does suffer loneliness, she lives in a big house that’s drawn back from the rest of the world and as such she doesn’t seen many people. She misses having people over and though she’d never tell him or anyone else she misses her brother, she feels like she’s lost her purpose since he left.
As blunt, cynical and pessimistic as she can be, Kirsty does have a softer side which is something few people are privy too. But don’t expect her to profess her affections to you every chance she gets, her affection is shown in little gestures and slight alterations in behaviour around the people she cares about. "
