This user has been causing a lot of gorgon/petrification artists a lot of issues with art theft, may I ask that you please DMCA the picture to help us get the account banned?

I personally had to file four DMCAs to get some of my art taken down, because they refused to comply when asked.

Dunno, I think it is already a fact that she/he doesn't create this art. I mean, the style is different from each piece they uploaded and also they seem to like gorgons... which is pretty much what they upload.Β
The art is on the internet, which is pretty much available for everybody, so I don't mind if they upload something. About the credit... oh well, they're not trying to getting profit from it, so that's pretty much like nothing.Β
I guess that's the reason why Twitter doesn't give a damn
Still thanks for the warn. I've seen art thefts like e-commerces who tried to sell pieces of art and didn't give any profit to their owners, which is something I think it must be banned

Oh, they ARE an art thief.
What you aren't seeing is the number of artists, myself included, who messaged them privately to ask "can you please credit me or take down my art" and they said "no". Not just no, actually, for me she outright blocked me after I DMed her, and she did that to two other friends as well.
It's true that she may have no ill intent, but the fact she ignores requests to give credit and then resorts to insults when artists exercise their right to control who does and doesn't reupload their art, speaks of an attitude similar enough to an art thief that there's no functional difference.

That's the problem with the internet: you can upload whatever you want, but people can download whatever they want. That's how it works.Β
It has laws of course, but they don't apply to somebody who has decided to publish something, knowing that everybody is allowed to download it.Β
Same happens with wallpapers, and random images from the internet.Β
Another different thing is that you have a copyright and they're earning money with the art.Β
I've had the same conversation not so long ago, related to "this person clearly writes "I've done this, look at my art"". You can see pretty clear when somebody hasn't created something. You don't need that much brain to know that xD
And the person you showed me CLEARLY hasn't created any of the images. Though if what you're asking for is that Twitter delete those images... you can sit down and relax. Maybe they will do it once, but not more than that.Β
And what you're complaining about is human nature. Unless they know and respect that there are other people than themselves in this world, that's what they're gonna do: whatever they want

Oh, I agree that an actual art thief is much worse to deal with. Claiming other people's work is yours is, factually, cancerous.
But NixGorgon is equally bad, just in other ways. I think that if someone asks you to either credit their work or stop using it, it's common courtesy to do it. Not doing it, blocking them, and then insulting them, is conversely really shitty, and speaks of someone with a really awful attitude.
As well, I have to note that a lot of the artists she takes from - the petrification ones, mostly - are close friends who are really unhappy about this situation right now. A lot of them tried to communicate with this person only to be sent away or ignored, just so they could get proper credit for art they did. That's why I'm taking the fight to them - because NixGorgon was asked to please credit people, and refused any and all compromises to make the artists happy.

As I've said before, this is a matter of respect. If that person doesn't respect you, and has a reportable attitude, then you know what to do
Still, you know that Twitter or other social networks won't take int account these kind of reports (mostly they tend to "ignore" them). And this depends mostly on how much time do you think you must spend arguing with people who you don't give a damn about
For me, the "signature" is in the drawing. And even if it isn't there, it's okay, this is the Internet. She's not taking profit of it, mostly roleplaying.Β

Huh? What do you mean Twitter ignores the reports?
My 4 DMCAs against NixGorgon were handled by the same time next day and all four pieces were removed from their gallery. A few artist friends of mine did the same and already had their works removed.
It's a pretty painless process.

Nah, eventually Twitter bans accounts who get so many strikes, I just don't know the exact number. That's why I encourage people to lend a hand if their art is in their gallery.

I wanna commission you, but I'm kinda scared to ask for the following reasons:
1. I don't know if you accept points or not
2. If you DO accept points, I'm just gonna guess it's very expensive, aaand I don't really have THAT much...
3. If you DO accept points, and it's actually affordable (bc your art style is just perfect), it's probably gonna take a long time to be finished (I have patience and can keep myself busy with other stuff, but even some patient people can have their limits)
4. I'm gonna guess comms are still closed, and I feel kinda guilty when I watch someone, JUST so that I'm there when they announce that comms are open, make a commission, and then unwatch them when they've finished it...
So yeah...I'm mostly fearing for the first two...

I probably won't. I don't have any Online bank accounts (PayPal, etc.), and if you guys live in the US, or anywhere outside of Europe, basically, I probably can't pay anyway, bc the currency here isn't in USD. Sorry to say it, but it's the truth :/
