I see that you credit the bases you use, nice (even though I personally believe they don't deserve their place on this website).
But by looking at your characters, they have unnatural bright colors that don't even match with other colors. My advice, you should at least tone down your color choice and choose more natural colors instead of the default ones in your Paint color tool.
