Thanks for commenting on the bowed head geisha. She did take a while to draw, but it was worth the time and effort and I do seem to have the patience to draw and I'm somewhat of a perfectionist in my art. I like to draw something that will look like a photo when I'm done. A realist.

I'm so excited. I just finished the bowed head geisha girl today and I'll post her up soon. It's taken months to draw her.

In the dark areas on the Tiger I used a 3 or 4 B and went over it with an H to soften it and to make it more even and you always move your pencil in a circular motion. The lighter areas are done in a 2B and the real lighter areas can be done in a 2H. The secret is to be really looking at your picture and distinguishing between the lights and the darks. I'm in the process of learning myself, but this is something that you have to keep on doing all the time everyday. Thanks

Just put my Tiger on Deviant art. thanks for liking him. I can't remember how long it took me to draw him. I do have a lot of patience, but it seems only in drawing and painting. There are different pencils that I use to come up with the different shadings. Thanks
