I'm using photoshop or illustrator, and sometimes both because i start drawing and painting in photoshop but if i need a clean result like a logo, i'm vectorizing in illustrator. Hope it helps! ^^

Aw, thank you so much.

There are actually so many amazing tutorials that are available on here. You can find some from this link www.deviantart.com/?qh=§io… and I guess choose those that are relevant to a style that you might want to approach first. I would just suggest that you try and understand how to do the line art for pixels first. It's a bit different to creating illustrations, in that you have to make sure the pixels make clean lines. That might not make sense now, but hopefully from some tutorials that make more sense then I do... it might help.

I have primarily learnt from looking at tutorials but also just practicing all the time. I semi-confident with the line-art I can make, but I a still not that good at the colouring. I guess like anything you learn and grow.

You could even try and practice converting your illustrations into pixel art, when you feel more comfortable.
