as for the strain you mentioned... it may be from the angle a little, but its probably also from the way the shot gets really blown out in the upleft... so it feels a little unbalanced.

People are allowed to have opinions, regardless if you disagree with them or not.
To be an artist is to take criticism, negative, or positive.
Life isnt about getting what you want to hear, and sometimes you have to listen to those opinions.

Its your right to disagree or agree, but not harass and provoke.

You criticise him for giving a negative comment, but u follow up by calling that particular deviants gallery horrible.

You are a hypocrite.

I suggest you listen to what you preach.

Jeah. I had one last thought on our convo, but you bounced. I totoally agree on the lack or originality in vector tracing, and i've become highly irritated with a th portrait traces. God its like if 7 vectors are submitted, 6 of them are of a persons face or body.

My ONLY exception is that one takes the photo themselves. in that case its her own works, they can be as creative as the shot they took, and then its cool. But when they just rip a photo from a site or search it in google or a stock site, its way less cool.

Ever since i had trouble getting on regularly to comment on my devwatch, and browse deviantart it general i have found people have stopped dropping by and the ammount of comments i recieve has dropped. IF everyone who came to my userpage expected me to start religously commenting on their work then i wouldn't have a life; it became way too hard for one person - no matter how much i wanted to try.

I think though, that there are more reasons why people arent commenting. I live in Australia, so when i log on in the morning to submit some work all you Americans are in bed. By the time you dudes wake up my deviations have been pushed down the line and into the shadows.

For the last few months i have had a lot on my plate, i'l sort things out eventualy though and i'll be able to participate more.

Thanx for commenting, and for the two (!?) favs . I hope to repay the favor.

I've been trying my best to get through all my messages (a one week holiday can cause more trouble than it's worth ) and so now here i am.

You're journal is discouraging, but if you want to go the best thing to do is go have a break. Get your priorities sorted out. Are you making art, or are you trying to grow comments?

Sometimes it's all just about being in the right place at the right time. Just because you dont get heaps of comments doesn't mean your work sucks, it just means you havent hoodwinked a bunch of lemmings into worshipping your work. Trust me, after a while you start getting pissed of when you get a ton of comments and they all say "Yeah, like the colours, very cool! w00t w00t"

Anyways, im not a psychologist so i'll quit with the therapy. Thanx for the comment, the watch and the fav. You do have some great photos in your gallery, so dont let anything get you down.
