# About me
I'm a civil engineer who draws in what little free time I have to draw. I mostly take on art requests because I can't usually think of anything to draw for myself when I'm in the mood to draw AND I have free time.Besides drawing, I'm a very adept and well-rounded femme. I can sing off-key, play half of several songs on the piano, catch shoplifters, write backwards (cursive or print) so you can read it in a mirror and I keep a paranormal blog with some online friends. I'm also something of a pioneer in that I was the first female pole-vaulter at my high school, and I've had my name in the paper a few times for my athletic accomplishments.... but those athletic days are long gone-- it's difficult to find people to "ball" with.
I'm a MAJOR Halloween addict. I sew costumes and design props for Halloween. I've been designing and carving my own pumpkin patterns since 1997. Most of what I do for myself is either pumpkin pattern design or perpetually putting off work on a comic book. One day... one day I might actually get a whole page done!

Eh... I'd love to get ready for Halloween, but I'm kinda looking for work. It's been a drag this year... so hard not to stock up on new Halloween gadgets when you know you need money for your mortgage. I have some interviews next week, so I'm hoping to get something soon. Fingers crossed!
This year has gone by too fast... and it's been quite eventful too. I hope next year is a little more relaxed. I need a good year of Halloween planning. LOL.

Oh wow that stinks. I understand how that goes, took me a month to find a job. I also moved in with my boyfriend back in January, I no longer live with my grandma. Some of my Halloween stuff is still at Grandma's, but my neighbor/land lord is really nice and let us use some of her stuff for Halloween decorating. We have a lot more freedom now anyway. ^^
I can completely agree, it takes a while to plan. Me I just sort of jump in when the stuff starts to come out in the stores.
Hope you can at least do something for Halloween, even if it's just a simple costume and a good scary movie to watch. Even if it's simple, I still pay homage to Halloween.
