Hello,I was reading your post on Gaia. I know its old. But its very informative and well written. First of all, I have some questions.
1. What type of Visa is required to present manga to editors in Japan?
2. Is Kodansha's International Manga Competition a good route?
3. Is it okay to submit to magazine contests or do they usually have location restrictions?
Please answer these questions if you can. I appreciate it. By the way, your art is awesome!

1. You do not really need a visa for presenting your stuff to Japanese editors. You will need a working visa in case they want to employ you though.
2. Definitely yes.
3. I talked to an editor of Hana to Yume at a Book Fair and she told me that if there are no restrictions in the rules you are free to participate. BUT according to my experience in working with Japanese they will prefer local people. It makes working easier, the artists are more accessible. And there are no language barriers.

You are welcome. No, I haven´t been published in Japan and hell no! XD The article on Gaia was more of a theoretical kind. I don´t know about Visa... But I can hardly imagine that they would go with that arrangement.

Sag mal, von dir ist doch Tränen eines Engels und damit auch ein gewisser Nico Wagner. Diesen sieht man in deinem Manga ja in verschiedenen Outfits. In Kapitel 2 "Enttäuschtes Vertrauen" trägt er ja eine Kombination aus Hose, Hemd, Weste und ner Krawatte. Auf dem Rücken hat er außerdem ein größeres Kreuz, auf der Krawatte eins und in Brusthöhe vorn auch eins. Unter der Weste trägt er außerdem noch nen Pulli oder was das ist.
Hast du von diesem Outfit ein Farbbild wo man ihn komplett sieht? Wo man auch Details sieht und vor allem seine eigentliche Haarfarbe/Frisur?
Ich möchte demnächst mit einer Freundin ein Partnercosplay machen. Dabei werde ich Nico Wagner cosplayn und sie den Todesengel Chagan. Nun hab ich mich in das oben beschriebene Outfit verliebt, aber keinen Plan von der Farbgebung. Es wäre schön, wenn du mir da weiter helfen könntest, da ich das Outfit so originalgetreu wie möglich umsetzen möchte.
