And yea if Fasha had turned out to be Goku's mom that definitely would be interesting, but I also like the new character :3 I think he was trying to show that all Saiyans were not innately blood thirsty bad people recently

But isn't that what Goku is for? And gohan and goten. Honesty i still don't care for Gine. I mean years of speculation of fasha being the mother and then this. Yeah its great he has a mother but to put it simply i'd prefer someone else

Well I mean, Goku basically was explained away as being nice for hitting his head, and his sons are basically just half Earthling, so I think what he was trying to do with these new nice characters like Tarble and Gine was let us know that apparently not all Saiyans are blood thirsty. Haha maybe he's trying to re-tell Goku's story and make it out like he really didn't just hit his head and would have inherited his gentle side from this Gine? Who knows

But that's the thing and the Bardock special points out that his parents were not with him at all since his birth. and Bardock didn't even want to see own his son until people told him too.Β
As for Gine being gentle that's a type of behavior that has to be learned. not inhertited. Goku was lucky enough to be found by some one who was kind of enough to take him in and raise him.Β
but since you brought in Tarble, here's what i think Tarble was more then likely sent away for being weak but since Frieza already had his hands on Vegeta at this point maybe King Vegeta was keeping Tarble away until he rescued Vegeta and stop Frieza...but we know how that turned out for him and the saiyans and disregarding Brolly) and i would like to point that while King Vegeta was no different then the any other saiyan one thing stands out he did care for Vegeta)Β
but back to Tarble that didn't make him less of a Saiyan. he did try to defend the planet he was on until he knew he had to get his brother.Β

Hmm that's the part I disagree a bit on, because I think what Toriyama was trying to say with the introduction of those two is that the gentle behavior WAS inherited and not learned, that it was actually innate for some Saiyans to be gentle and not cut out for battle 
By cut out I do mean thrive on fighting, but as you mentioned with Tarble, I am sure they all do have the natural ability to fight and will defend themselves if need be
But on the other hand using Tarble at all is still so iffy to me too, bleh... Toriyama's just gone and kinda confused the whole flux of things with these new characters, they've opened up more questions than given answers, I guess that's the shame when there are so many characters within a universe that fall by the wayside in preference for creating whole new charactersΒ x.x
