cool... i'm glad you're able to use the files! so let's see... the best way i learn is through tutorials and experimentation. i've read i don't know how many magazines and books on photoshop.

Magazines worth looking into:
-Digital Arts
-Advanced Photoshop
-Computer Arts
-Computer Arts Projects
-Essential Photoshop Skills
-Photoshop Creative

Books are probably the most boring route...they can be tedious to get through, but lay a good foundation. I did the Adobe Photoshop CS2 one on one. I also got the Scott Kelby Photoshop Channels book. Good stuff for making intricate selections.

Websites... good god there are too many to list. But some of the ones that i frequent are:

So there you go! hope it helps. oh... and tips... if you don't have a drawing tablet (like a wacom or whatever) invest in one. it'll take your digital art to the next level! other than that the only generalized tip i have is EXPERIMENT and HAVE FUN! :D (Big Grin)
