c.t.h. a brief, note,. try  takena  decent phtograpgh that you have, of your pieces. and  have them zeroxed..  pretty amazing results,  zerox,.  amplify,  the  image, to largest paper size ...   and have the tech,    try contrast settings,  and  other settings,, to get a real ominus, looking zerox,,   , you can see a lot, differntly,  the peices.  using zerox,   and a little inspiration,  from the 80s.. the  psychedelic furs.. the track. she is mine. (you tube) very intersting track.  about making a pair of shoes... i molded  my shoes, same as drum.. serem wrap the shoes,, and use the gauze,, .  2 layers on!  then leave  alone, too set a few days,  to get a really good cure.. and then carfully cut them off,(thoughtfully)  and layer on inside, acouple more layers.),, its a simple, idea,      approach,  and not having to cut of  wonderfully  defined cast feet... its all built in, the process, a lot given   its really a  thinking, process, and stepping back,. and like anthoney gormly says,.. look look look,...   seeing the pieces,  spending time with them,  and visualizing, really helps. to advance your process,  and skills, ....  good luck and best wishess...ps look at kiky smiths old work!. she also did a lot of papermache.. paper mache mask,s   can be plastered over.!  pretty amazing for adding a mask to a piece.. imyslef need to work more at   better skills with paper mache...  also old anthoney gormly vids, on you tube,  of him casting,    or being casted in plaster,,, and a lot of polish sculptors also using  plaster castings   for bronze pieces,   pretty neat,,   what can    be done withplaster casting skills... look  at   nicola hicks,  she also did some  caasting,,. allof gormlys pieces,  started from a plaster cast, eyes closed!...-  i think with some clay,  you could model  some open eyes on top of a  casting,  then paster over that?..  but segal and many others,  just   used the closed, eyes  pieces....tom
