Thank your for your comment on When the Tide Goes Out. It would seem that you are under the impression that digital photography is better than traditional though, which I feel is unfortunate. 7 million silver halides per frame is the equivalent of 10 megapixels, meaning that no commercial digital cameras really meet the same level of quality. A medium format camera would equal 20Megapixels, and a large format would be even more. To this day, after scanning countless images taken with both types of cameras, under scrutiny of loupes and magnifiers, I have still yet to find a digital camera that equals the beauty of a traditional print. I always find contrast lines, or artifacts. Even the highest end Cannon cameras (which are quite nice) pale when blown up to sizes of 20x30 when compared to 100 speed film. Still, I appreciate the words.

I am glad that my work could help shed a little light for you. I dont know everything by any means, but I have been where you are talking about and dont regret for a second the decisions I have made since then. I know it may not be the most popular view around here but believe it or not God honestly does care about us. I try to show that by example instead of cramming a Bible down people's throats.
