# About me
suppose im an artist, well i dunno i like to paint a lot, more digital than traditional.i started on digital painting around of the year 2005? somehitng like i was finishing the highschool, and when i figured how much i love it i decided to study graphic desing, on these years i knew some of my best friends they are on deviant art too by the way, being on the university we start to go to conventions.
Right now i work on a studio called Graphikslava
learning from some kickass artist :o

Glad to hear you are well! Are you still working in comics? What's it like getting into the industry and actually being in it - I have not the slightest idea beyond just looking at the pretty pictures and the doodlings I do XD
I've been pretty busy as well with worth - been doing a lot of long hours so I don't really have time to draw as much anymore though I still try...

rewire everything... well been there xD and working on these i dunno, i think for me its just like receiving the job at my mail, i work on a studio so my boss is the one who have the contact with the customers and editorial houses, as a studio we attend to some conventions here in mexico selling our prints. BUT! BUT! right now in a few hours i will travel to new york to attend to the Comic Con to show my portfolio and search some work by my own so i will tell you later how it is xD

By the looks of it, comic cons are really the best way to get your work out there isn't it? It seems like the most direct way for a customer and artist to meet and look at what the artist can offer! NY comic con sounds exciting! I was meant to go to that this year, but it's really hard for me to get time off from work (I'm actually an interior designer) and things are always so busy in the office. I wish you all the best and I hope you do get some work from it
I had thought about tabling at comic cons, but I'm always nervous since I'm not a professional and the standards I see are so high. I guess the reason I'm on DA is to see how my work stands in comparison and for me to level up to a standard that I can finally consider 'professional' before I got out there into the big scary world haha XD

here im! jajaja new york himself was impresive! and the con was bigger than i spected! a big place fullof people ._. the saturday and sunday was so dificult to go around the stands, and yes i think the conventions are the direct way to show yourself to the people but of course the comic cons of usa are biggers than the way they are on my country, and i saw on the artist alley there on NY a lot of independent artist mixed with the "pro" ones.
I tought the same as you about attend a table on a con about the quality standards,but i started to go as expositors on local convention here with some friends when we where studing, so looooong time ago, so i think its just normal fear about trying new things, you should try it!

I guess you are right on that it’s just beginner’s fear and I won’t know till I try tabling so I’ll take your advice on that too! Hopefully sometime in the near future coz I don’t know how getting professional with drawing is gonna work with my current day job TAT
