HAHAHA that's the first comparison I've heard about him with Dante... Most people compare him to the Persona 4 protagonist!! Also it's pretty good but you have to play like, 3 games to understand some stuff. It's a weird series.

Oh no I'm not talkin about Kyousuke. I'm talking about some dude named Sonosuke or whatever his name is, the coat and guns remind me of Dante from Devil May Cry. I was into DR and SDR2 back in like... 2013? It was when DR was SUPER obscure and to find fellow fans was a miracle. Seeing a 3rd installment anime is like.. surreal. I'll probably watch it eventually but damn! My 2013 self would shit themselves if they heard "3rd DR anime"

OH HIM!!! I can see the resemblance now, sorry for making a mistake. Also, yeah. I've been here since 2013 too! (I stopped liking it in 2015, because of lack of content, but now i'm back) The fanbase really has changed a lot. (I blame the anime for the first game. It wasn't too good from what I remember, but attracted a lot of people into the series.) I still remember reading the second game on some website... and eventually playing them when they came out in America. Β On the topic of the third anime.... There are two airing on separate days. Monday airs Future side (with the new cast; set in, well, the future), and Thursday airs Despair side (which details what happened to the SDR2 cast before the New World Program). They're both pretty good,

No broski, it's fine, it's just.. so surreal Dangan Ronpa made a revival, I remember all those stupid ass Dangan Ronpa memes we thought were funny but we look upon them like a person looks back on when they were little and played doctor. We shudder, and move on. But I'm really surprised Dangan Ronpa is relevant in 2016, I do miss it and It'd be nice to go back to it again, especially after so long... The fanbase is giant now, and kinda cringey, which is to be expected, but I miss all the shitposting. It's good to see people still passionate about DR after so long. I see fandoms die and grow due to lack of content all the time. It's nice to see em come back.
