love you forum post on NDAA 1867. its an amazing world we live in where the gov gets to arbitrarily choose who gets the protection of the bill of rights.

It fearfully reminds me of another bill that attacked the protections provided to the citizens in their constitution.
"The Enabling Act"
Which let a government strip its citizens of their constitutional protections. It was voted on and passed by the country's senate. The country, of course, was Germany, the year 1933. Hitler would have never gotten away with what he did later, if they had voted no on the enabling act.

the similarities are frightening. none of the rights in the constitution are granted to us by the government, they are natural rights granted to us by our creator (god, evolution, existence, what ever you believe) and can not be taken away by the gov. our constitution is a list of things the government cannot do to us and here they are trying to do the very things prohibited by the "law of the land"
our constitutional protections cannot ever be stripped as long as the public has the will to fight for them. i dont know you much but i like what you got to say... i say ron paul is the start of the way back to constitutional freedom.
