Ah the way I pronounce my name is the same! And omigosh yes, I also have some people mispronounce it. Haha like instead of saying "Kare-Rah" they say "Kah-Ra" and whatnot xDD
I also sometimes get called Carol and Kerry? Lol what? xD How is that even similar to Kara?
But yeah it's kind of weird that such a simple four letter name can be easily mispronounced xD

Actually, the other day at Starbucks, they wrote my name as "Karan" on the cup! Where did that 'N' came from?! Now I sound like a guy lol!
Major pet peeve of mine when people don't get my name right...

Man it's been so long now that I think about it, we're all heading in our own directions now. And early congrats! All the responsibilities that come after graduating uni.... 

Yeahhhhhh, it was my first cosplay so it felt pretty awkward! I wasn't really all that prepped for it either haha. I think I'll be going all three days this time, alternating between outfits. Are you going to cosplay too?

Would love to cosplay a SnK character but it would require a lot of work to make it look nice (too expensive to buy the maneuver gear online) ><

oh man I saw that fig, and the eren one too !! it's a must get but maybe sometime when I finish collecting my hxh figs HAHAH i think i'll be at AN on friday to get most of my purchases, leaving saturday/sunday for cosplays!

ahh I'm actually watching a lot LOL now that I have time. right now, asides from hxh and HQ, i'm also following Yowamushi Pedal, One Piece. I'm a huge huge fan of sports series even though I can barely exercise

Ooh, how many figmas do you own? At first, I was not very fond of figmas b/c of how obvious the joints are but I like how accurate they are in terms of the character's appearance. And you can do a lot more with them in terms of poses compared to scale figures. So far I only own 1/8 PVCs though. Once the Levi figma releases in June, he'll be my first!! (Also getting his nendo) XD

I'm curious.. how much did you spend on your cosplays?

Sport series are great! It motivates you to work harder in life! Well, at least that's how it is to me. I don't follow a lot of sport series but Slam Dunk is a great classic (very realistic art, if you're into that). I think one of the reasons why I love Haikyuu so much is b/c I miss the times when I used to be more active in sport. I'm talking about all the way back in elementary/high school where they force you to take gym (up till grade 9 but I continued afterwards). I'm not good at sports but there have been times where I felt like I was on the roll and those moments feel AMAZING. Ugh, I don't make a lot of sense but in short, I love team sports (e.g. basketball, soccer, field hockey) and those moments of winning alongside with your teammates! Ironically, volleyball and badminton are the sports I dislike the most, even though they're the most popular ones in school. I like sports that involve a lot of long-distance running. XD

Not enough to have an account on myfigurecollection yet haha but I have four, two of which are pretty small. There's also 3 three nendoroids I own.. I should take a picture of it next time!! I prefer the figures that are stiff and joint-less actually, I usually don't touch them once they're put to display haha. 

UMMM I use Taobao for my cosplays, and the price is very reasonable. My dad goes back often so I just ask him to bring it back for me (yay save shipping $$). But I spend roughly $50 per cosplay, with the exception of SnK... that one's hella expensive, also b/c I bought it when it was super hyped too. You can generally get cosplays from taobao of that price, it rarely goes past $50 unless your character is super detailed.

Ohhh mannnnnnn you should really watch Yowamushi Pedal too!! It's probably my favourite, next to HQ, it's sooo intense and so well-executed in terms of mood an animation. And haha don't worry I'm like that too.. stopped gym after 9th grade, though I wasn't completely exercise-deprived. I took some hiphop dance classes for 3 years! I was also in a team for 2 years, but quit after I enter uni.

you should!! cosplaying is what i look forward to now, pretty fun to collect the clothes too. you should look into taobao if you are (but be aware they only ship within china so you'll need someone to bring it), ebay cosplays are really, really unreliable.. not so much service but the quality omg. i remember buying the snk harness from there and it was sooo bad i had to re-purchase another set! 

are you working atm? i think i should start this year considering how much longer the "summer" break for uni is haha.

Well technically I'm 'unemployed' right now but I have a part-time cash job. I only work Sat/Sun though.
I want to find a proper career (as a clinical/research assistant for a start) but I lack healthcare-related experience! If you know any openings let me know. So desperate to any get related job for experience! OTL
