I'm doing watercolors too but I use a different set of tools and I tend to keep things simple without the use of too many colors or too much detail. Does that necessarily make my art bad?

Maybe you're right! I guess art (and pretty much anything for that matter) can only bad when you compare it with something else, and there really isn't a better or worse in its own right.

Thanks so much! And um... when i first started out, i practiced by copying a lot of existing art-- its okay to do so as long as you dont claim as your own i guess! or you could study the anatomy of anime-ish characters but its all about practice xD
