Haha :) (Smile) The name "Sierra" is becoming more and more popular in the US, but now that you mention it, the girls who are named Sierra usually have blond hair and blue eyes; I don't think they're Spanish. Is this name uncommon in Spain?

Yes, it's absolutely uncommon in Spain. I've never heard anybody called Sierra. It's more usual as surname, like the "famous" spanish writer Javier Sierra. I don't know if in others hispanic countries is common or not, but i doubt it.

By the way, in Spain also there are girls with blond hair and blue eyes!!! hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm

Yeah, in Spain we mind a little bit that it confuse us with Mexicans or Peruans or latinamericans in general. It's not anything in opposition to them, it's only a question of identity. :) (Smile)
