Least Favorite MHA Characters Dishonorable MentionSo, a while ago I made a list of my least favorite characters in My Hero Academia ( ). There are a few more characters that I want to put on this list. I do want to say that these characters aren't horrible, just annoying and bland. Anyway, let's get started.
Toru: Aside from being invisible, she's really uninteresting. Also, her personality, which is energetic and cheerful, makes it appear that there are two Minas. She even sounds like Mina, at least in the English dub.
Koda: He's pretty bland with a decent Quirk. However, in the English dub, he has a really annoying voice that, thankfully, he rarely uses.
Ojiro: He's bland and has a really stupid quirk.
Uwambi: She's only been shown one or two times, but she reminds me of Mt. Lady except that she actually has the fame and popularity that she doesn't. '
Magne: Eh...she was pretty bland. Like, the least interesting member of the League of Villains.

I started drawing when I was 11 but that slowed down after I turned 15 i think? I kept trying to get back into it but it never lasted too long ): Drawing felt tedious and I didn't have much time for it with school and all. I still doodled pretty often using art apps on my phone or when i was procrastinating studying heh but it wasn't much to let me improve. I got back into it about 2 weeks ago when I got my tablet working again! Kinda worried I won't continue once uni starts up again tho ):

I did draw when I was a kid of course but I hated it because well. I was really bad haha! I drew for a little while when I was around 14 but without any improvement. I just looked at pictures and tried to replicate them. Then I got my first tablet around 3 years ago and I used it for a while but ... I got annoyed at how it didn't work the way I wanted it to and stopped again.
But I really wanted to improve drawing. And a friend of mine is like really good at drawing so always when I saw her drawings I would be like... aww man I want to be able to do this. And then I did a drawing challenge with another friend of mine who had the exact same situation as me and then I saw a little improvement so we vowed to each other that we would try hard to improve this year and it's really working so drawing is becoming more fun for me
I also followed artists on twitter and there was one who did male versions of the winx girls and I really liked... his? (I think? sorry if I'm wrong haha. I think his name was oppairin or something but he changed it recently? I can check in my following list if you want to know) drawing style. So I was stalking that a lot and got motivated again and well yeah. I don't draw every day or every week because I don't have the habit yet but I have periods of a few weeks or days that I'm really into it and obsess over it most of the day. I hope I can stay into it this time. I really want to be serious about it now.

Aw yeah I get that. You kinda just wanna skip all the study and practice and just get to pumping out nice works of art, huh? Improving takes so much time and effort and it can be really frustrating sometimes ):
That's so great!! I'm sure you'll keep improving quickly! Having friends and stuff is very motivating! I don't have too many friends who are into art and art active on this platform (like, 1 and another who I'm trying to lure in), but I hope to make a bunch of friends eventually! I used to be pretty active here when I was like 13-14 and before that I had anothr lil art community and it's so much fun to socialize and draw with everyone!
Oh yeah building a habit is definitely the way to go about it I think. Forcing yourself to do something will lead to burning out quickly. Ever since I've picked up my tablet 2 weeks ago drawing has been kind of a hyperfixation though it's dying down a bit now

There are so many great artists online and it can be both inspiring and discouraging. But then I remember they had to go through to the whole learning process too and I could get to their level some day still hard not to feel bad sometimes ha

Yeaahh indeed. I have that often too... being obsessed with it for a week or two and then it burns down for a few months and then it starts again etc. If I find myself getting bored I either move on to a new style to try or just something else to do.

I think there are many opportunities to make friends here which is great! It's certainly easier to build a following here than on other platforms like instagram or tumblr I think

Same!ö I like many people their adoptables but I don't buy them because well, first of all I can't afford it and second of all it's much more fun to design something myself. If I'd buy someone their adoptable it would never feel mine I think? It's not my character then.
I also kind of have this with an OC of mine (I don't have him on deviant) but my friend designed him because we made an otome game demo out of it... but whenever I think of him now all I can think is like... that is not my design though. Like the character is mine, and was for yeaaars, but then he got a design and... yeah.

omg i love goodreads!! i love to read but i can't seem to get myself to do it often? usually because of uni getting in the way but i don't have an excuse not to read this summer. i've only read one book so far (it was long though and i really liked it!). i'm not too good at handling all the emotions of certain stories though (i get way too involved) (even watching movies or show is a struggle) which is probably a reason. what are you favourite genres? mine are suspense and mystery

I agree. And it's just so much fun to think about the designs! But that is also why adoptables are fun because I could never use all of the oc's I make and this way you can make them and someone else can actually use it in your stead I suppose.

Cool! I see multiple people do it. It's a lot of fun but also a looot of work. One day I want to make one entirely on my own but that's far away in the future. You can find ours here .. the one I was talking about is called 'Secrets' but I am not sure if it will ever get released? There are some serious issues with the production. Same with another one we were working on that's like 80% done T_T the only one that is truly done is Genjitsukai but that only has an playtime of around 2 hours because we made it for NaNoRenO. Have you ever made one/planned on making one?
Yeahh. I think it's nicer when you do it yourself. Also, when someone comes on to your page the first thing they will think is that you made that yourself so if they then see in your gallery that your art is very different they might be disappointed? I wouldn't want to risk that.

I get it. Which is why I don't read war-themed books for example... I don't like the emotions I will feel. I like Mystery and suspense a lot too! But I also like fantasy and I can also like contemporary. Idk it depends on my specific mood ^^

Also, I think you can improve pretty quickly from making adoptables because you have to think about making very different designs ^^ I mean it really got me to think about it a lot more. And try out new combinations and designs.

Nope, haha. There are a bunch of books that I can't remember the title of.. that I read when I was younger. And sometimes I forget to add an book and then months later I'm like... I could swear I read this book why isn't it in here!?!? but yeah. I do add the most recent stuff, usually.

USUALLY I am really not into fae and stuff so things like that are the exceptions... I do like dragons though. oh yeah it definitely gets your creative gears going! personally i like simple designs bc i so do not enjoy figuring out how to draw elaborate ones, especially if you're trying to draw the character in a complicated pose

I understand. I like both! With simple designs I don't have to put in as much effort though... but with the more complex ones I feel like I'm actively learning from it so even though it can be frustrating it feels good too.

Hmmm. Not really. I quit the story I was writing years ago and I have another one, (actually it's one featuring Farunah, Artos and Ceran) but the worldbuilding takes forever so I decided that I want to draw about their world and let the ideas come to me eventually. I actually went on a writing hiatus for a while and I'm slowly trying to ease back into it, like with drawing haha.

Hmm I do like romance in books, sometimes I require it (like contemporary without romance is boring imo) but SOMETIMES it just shouldn't be in there. It depends on the book. But I'm def a romantic so yeah I swoon over it.
Oh I still love YA but I'm getting at a point where many books get boring so I'm not sure if I'm going to grow out of it or just becoming waaay more selective.

i'm a total romantic too but the romance in contemporary novels are pretty hit or miss for me. especially when slightly to severely toxic relationships are passed off as romantic? like yikes

Hmm not really^^ I love my characters but I can't figure out what I want. I tried rewriting everything but I'm not sure if it made it better or worse. So I think I'll focus on improvement since I lost years of writing and reading, and then maybe pick it up at a later point.

Same... it's hit or miss. Not just with the toxic but also the storyline around it. Some are sooo cheesy and like 'I already read this 300 times' and some are just so... unbelievable? Or it's so simple like. Oh he liked the same book as me we must be soulmates. That I... no. Like instalove when it really doesn't make any sense.... nope.
Haha... yeah. I'll never get around them all. I have over 200 books to read in my actual bookshelf so... but I end up reading things online instead and idk why. Things I don't possess already hmm.
