I've been in good health this whole time. I just had a series of personal fires pop up on me, some expected, some not. Here's a journal explaining why!Β
I disappeared for 3 weeks. Here's why.Hello, all.Β
I said that most of my fires would be put out on August 5. Well, a lot more kept coming up. It's not a justification for my disappearance, but I found myself with no spare time to take care of Deviantart, or any non-essential business for that matter. Here's a time table on what I've been doing.
August 3 - August 11, I "finish" my senior design project. It technically worked out, but it also doesn't 100% work the way it's supposed to. I had to work on that pretty much non-stop. As it stands, I'm officially done with it.
August 12, I leave my less-than-pleasant dad's house in a hurry. While I had managed to secretly pack up most of my stuff leading up to August 12, I had to rush through what was left. I had initially planned to leave my dad on the 16th, but other people's schedules forced me to accelerate my efforts. On the plus side, he's out of my life for good, and I am never going to have to worry about him again.Β
August 13-16, I stay with a friend while wait

Hey is it okay if I ask on how one can get more watchers since I've been stuck with 13 watchers for two years now, and wonder if you have some advice on how to attract more watchers.

Well, if you do it just for the watchers, you probably won't have too much fun. I just post what I want, because I enjoy writing. Gotta get those dopamine hits somehow, right? Anyways, having more watchers won't bring you as much joy as you think it will.Β
The only real path to happiness is through drugs. Or personal satisfaction with your hobbies, idk.

No I donβt do it for the watchers since I love making my stories and post them to see what people think but I wonder on how you go so many watchers since you also love making stories and posting art and I was just curious on how you can achieve that, but in all honesty you give some really good advice you know that. Seriously you must be like a sage on DeviantArt. Which is good as you have a great sense of right and wrong and know the right things to say, so thank you for your honest answer ^v^

Well heck! You are too kind! XD So, I've been actively on DA for about 4/5-ish years now. And we write. On a visual art site. It is a slow climb. See, for me, I did daily uploads when RWBY just started for about a month and a half. That distinguished me in a fandom starved for content. But mainly I was consistent in my uploads for a long time. It's only recently that my posts became sporadic, so new watchers also became sporadic. We're I to abandon my studies and resume such a fervent upload schedule that could be changed. But my exams won't take themselves!

So mostly patience will help me so just continue on doing what I love to do and let new watchers spread their love for my stories spread to other watchers as well. Well if patience is the answer so I accept it and I hope you continue your love for your work as well. But like I said before you know what to say to help people and therefore you are a sage of DeviantArt ^_^

Thank you for telling me about that the group I recently joined had a leader who was an art thief. Not a lot of people check for that, so I am glad you did and told others. Such a shame that there are people out there who steal art from others.

1. You are the first of all to whom I send this birthday drawing that you have noticed. I also have to make some adjustments to the drawing and turn it into digital version, and change the letters "Happy Birthday".

Not all of that fanfiction is good, however, and I have found myself turning down and removing some of it.Β Some people ask for an explanation as to why I've denied entry for their art. This journal is written for them.
Hello, RWBY lover! This is not a personal attack on you. It's a dispassionate, simple matter of fact: We have quality control. Your art failed to meet standards. We don't have time to help aspiring artists improve their art, but for you: writing is myΒ talent. I can offer some advice. I'm no expert, but I know what I'm doing.Β
1) Read more books. Seek out the great works of monumental magnitude!Β I've read a few of them and can say this:
"Little Women" <-----------------------------------A masterpiece, a must read, a tear-jerker.Β
Any of the Sherlock Holmes stories.
And I am totally down to talk about anything for writing. Just don't take my word as gospel! XD I still have much to learn, too.

My opinion is that we have a lot to learn from him and others who followed similar paths in history, so that we can avoid future Hitlers.
Hitler was a horrible monster who wasted his potential to do good in the world as any other human being. And if I might be blunt with you, there's a WAAAY shorter list of things he actually did right:
1. Animal cruelty is bad.
2. Smoking is bad (it pollutes that pure, arian body that he didn't have; but he had the right idea).Β
3. A big country needs highways.Β
4. A modernized population needs a lot of cars.Β
5. A mechanized army needs stable sources of oil.Β
6. Optional: he was vegetarian, but I like meat so whatever for me.
Those points pale in comparison to the whole "mass execute Jewish men, women, children, and babies; mass execute Soviet, Polish, Ukrainian, Slavic, British, and French civilians and POWs."Β
There's a lot to learn from him, though. We all have that potential that he had. Given such supreme, total power we might also cross that mental line from "I shouldn't hurt others" to "It's okay to hurt/kill others if it's for the greater good". Once you cross that line, it's easy to discount human life, as was the case with him, Stalin, Pol Pot, Qaddafi, Mao, and the list goes on.Β
