Aside from being genuinely well written and interesting, it really rang true for me. I had a few years of hiatus from deviant art for precisely the reasons you discussed - feeling disappointed with a lack of a response (when infact I have always had a perfectly good response, considering - but I was comparing myself to others too much to notice) and deciding it was because I'm inferior for not spending my every waking hour practicing. When I came back last year I had a bit more life experience and now I'm happy if even one other person enjoys my work. I draw what I love, when I want to, and if a few people like my work then that is a cherry on top! I think your journal will encourage others to feel the same. Good work!
