OH BOY! Tell me about it! Seventeen days now, I believe.

Excitement has not really hit me yet, but I'm certainly getting there XD! There was a bit of stress over this travel visa thing I have to get (it's basically just a stamp in your passport that says you can leave the country for a certain amount of time... or something like that, ahaa) because the application for it was a bitch to fill out. For one thing, half of it was in french, so I'm not even sure if I filled those documents out right. But whatever. Plus, it takes 2-4 weeks to process, and you have to actually mail your passport to them, so obviously I'm stuck in Canada until they get me all checked out.

BUT NO WORRIES. My lovely friend are throwing me a going away party

PS!!! I forgot to tell you about this... so, I was at Joe's house on Christmas eve, and he gives me this christmas present. okay. get ready for this present. omg. ready?

OKAY, so I open up this tube-shaped thing taped to the box first, and it's a Sonic Colours poster!! AAHHH !!! So I'm just SO DELIGHTED, right XD? But then, I open the box and pull out NOT ONLY A SONIC. NOT ONLY A TAILS. BUT A KNUCKLES TOOOOO!!! So I have those awesome stuffy guys, and they're so great. AND THEN there's this little metal belt buckle thing with a Sonic that spins around the middle? It's AWESOME. I found a picture of it on google: [link]

You can spin Sonic around XD. It's amazing. AND THEENNN, (you: "WHAT, EMMA?! HOW COULD THERE POSSIBLY BE MOREEE!?!!") there was this little red box thing, and I'm like, "?". I open it, and IT'S A CHAOS EMERALD! A LIFE-SIZED CHAOS EMERALD!! A LIFE-SIZED CHAOS EMERALD WITH "EMMA" ENGRAVED IN THE TOP!!! LMAAOOOO!! I just literally freaked right out at him. I don't think I've ever been given any present ever that made me that happy. I was GIDDY for a solid week just from that.

That application process sounds like such a doozy! I hope everything goes well with that, I will have to do that for my (eventual) trip to Japan for my major. Oh dears.

I HAVE A SONIC COLORS POSTER TOO. I was at Michael's Arts and Crafts store looking through the posters and I about died. It is the most adorable thing ever! Sonic is running with all these wisps floating around with this huge smile on his face and I'm all asldfkjasdl;fajsd;l. And I have a Sonic messenger bag and got Sonic and The Black Knight for Wii. AND THAT BELT IS AWESOME.

Plus that Emma engraved Chaos Emerald sounds amazing, I think that might land him in best boyfriend ever territory.

I am doing great! Lounging around my last few days of break before I start back le college on the 18th. Sorta ready to have something occupy my mind, lol. And I have ideas for a Sonic/Amy doodad thing that might or might not be very good. BUT I WILL WRITE IT. SOONISH.

A few of the new voices caught me by surprise, but for the most part I'm very happy with them!

I do like Roger as Sonic... the acting's just so nice. Except (and this isn't really so noticeable in the Free Riders cut scenes because they're just pictures) I find in that Colours video that his voice doesn't really seem to match how his mouth is synced? He looks too happy or something. But whatever, I'm delighted to have any dialogue whatsoever. Mostly, it's just fantastic how much more NATURAL he sounds! I'm super fond of Tails, too. Really darling.

I AM REALLY LOVING MR TRAVIS WILLINGHAM AS KNUCKLES. Sexy. And Rouge!! Oh, I'm SO happy with her! Not only do I prefer the non-whore voice SO VERY MUCH, she just sounds so Rouge! I love it. And Cream's good, too ... I gotta say I did like her high-pitched thing, but whatever.

Shadow is embarrassing OMG. He just sounds absurd! On youtube, all the comments are all, "SHADOW SOUNDS SO EPIC! HE'S SEXY! OMG!" I'm like... WTF? no. I think shadow sounds ridiculous! It's like this new guy is trying to take Jason's patterns of speech and over-exaggerate them.

Amy kinda made me do a double-take... especially because I really liked her old voice! kay, A) this new lady is like 55, and B) SHE'S SCORPINA FROM MIGHTY MORPHING POWER RANGERS. LMFAO. I laughed SO hard when I read that.

But yeah! I'm very excited about a;; this new business.

I told joe to buy the kinect for his xbox, but I didn't even realize how expensive it is! It's insane. Darn those guys.

Yess, I agree with you on most of those opinions! I think everyone sounds good although Amy I think will take some more getting used to, I think Cindy Robinson (apparently that's her new actress instead of Scorpina?) hasn't had much practice with "younger peppy girl" characters.

And Shadow! Yeah. His actor is pretty old (54! So I guess it's appropriate as Shadow is technically 50). Although he sounds great in most of his other roles, it's just, I don't think he has the right tone? Ehh, I mean its Shadow. Haha.

And yah! The Kinect is pretty expensive, I think it's 150? Bluh.

Also, guess what ! I have a host family in France! (sorry if you don't care... AFS warned me to not talk about my exchange shit all the time because people don't care. The parents are Benedicte and Denis, and I have two sisters... one is Celine, and she's like 23, and the other's Marine, and she's a year younger than me . That's all I know right now, but I sent them an email and added them (read: have been creeping INCESSANTLY) on facebook. EXCITING. They haven't answered me or accepted the friend requests yet, so I'm kinda thinking that the pathetic French of my email scared them off. haa. And I've been trying to find their address on Google maps, but the town's like in the middle of nowhere, so you can only do the car-point-of-view thing on like three streets. Booo.

I've also written a tiny bit of Stone Cold... I think today was supposed to be my due date. so it looks like Big and Chris will be back for a little bit. Jooyyyy.

Anyways I am quite fine! I have this retarded Humanities midterm today. I will never understand for the life of me WHY I have to learn about ancient Greek philosophers and how exactly they affect us 2000 years later. But apparently it's up to my University that I should learn this vital information! Ugh, kill me now. >_<

Speaking of sweatpants, it is SILL not sweatpants weather here. The leaves are slowly starting to change color and we have roadkill all over the place but is it a nice and breezy 70-60? Hell no. We have temperatures still in the 80's. WHAT THE FUCK.

I feel bad because even though I'm working again I still never seem to have money! And I tend to spend too much money in one place.

I have been a busy bee. I was going to PM you back last night, but then my friend called me and I ended up watching Lion King with him. But yeah... my life is basically work, work, work, work, camp, work, work, work, work, camp. But I have the house to myself this weekend (I was supposed to have our staff golf tournament tomorrow, but it got postponed. My mom didn't need to know that.) so I'm going to write and make a new avatar and draw some stuff. AND GO TO SHOPPERS DRUG MART BECAUSE IT'S 10% OFF AND 10X THE OPTIMUM POINTS!! ... do you guys have shoppers? You don't! oh gosh! It's my favourite .

Let me tell you now. Some force of the universe does NOT want Stone Cold to be posted. Seriously... I have written this one section THREE times now, and things, consistently, keep happening to delete it. It's sitting at like 1400 words right now, but I had it almost done a bunch of times. First, I sent it this current version to myself then opened it on my dad's laptop and wrote this whole part that I actually liked, believe it or not. But then the next morning, it was GONE, because I had pressed 'open' instead of 'save' when I got it from hotmail. So it was in this 'temp' folder and all the work disappeared. I swore a little. (I spend all my time with 20-somethings so I kinda swear more now :\. It's not good because I live with an eight-year-old sister.) But yeah, THEN, I got over the "oh nooo" and I wrote it AGAIN on the laptop. Then without telling me, my dad took the laptop with him to camp for the weekend. AAH. So I'm debating weather I should start it again. I have that 1400-word-long version on this computer, but I'm starting to resent it a little XD. Either way, it should NOT be too much longer.

When I get paid this week, I think I should be over my $4000 , which is awesome.
