Um, ok, first: My prices aren't usually this cheap. 

It's in a journal of mine that I'm trying to save up for a Masters of Anatomy artbook, and i want to preorder it, but the price isn't even out and once it's out, so will the limited pre-ordering, which is a cheaper price than the regular price. Now, I used to advertise my commissions a lot, hardly getting any commissions, but hey, decently priced. They're cheap now coz that means more income coz there's a deadline and I need to save up as much as I possibly can. 

My prices are usually a decent price higher than that.

Now, on that post, it's a bit eh (aside from the main point of the entire post), eh the ways to get commissioned, coz I've tried those ways and those don't usually work.

This game is not something that can be played overnight. It's not quick, easy money. It took me two years to start seeing real returns and in that time I got hired to do concept art and other 2d work for a software company.

BTW, the image they use to promote that book is by Andrew Loomis, you know his books are in the public domain right?

Umm, I've been at it for over 2 years, so yes, I know how it works. 

Yeah, and that isn't really what they're selling. They're having lots of artists contribute to something else.

and I do have Loomis' books.

That's... what I've been doing?  

(again) the only reason why I lowered my prices a lot is coz I really want the book, since a lot of the artists I look up to are in there, and they're gonna showcase anatomy stuff, and perspectives (which is part of my problem, in terms of drawing).
