whadja think of the more recent releases like homecoming and shattered memories?
I felt the latter was a decent remake with a twist end, but the combat was non-existant, and the former was good, but had a few choice failings like a pointless inclusion of PH and overly predictable ending.

lobsel vith was one of the gods the cult worshipped. two of them, the yellow god lobsel vith, and the red god xuchilbara. it's thought that the red god is pyramid head. ever play silent hill 3? remember that weird thing with the shaky head you'd see everywhere? that'd be xuchilbara. he's there as a sort of the maintainer of Otherworld.

BTW, you should really try to play the games. the movie was good, but in terms of it's accuracy in relation to the games, it's not.

with a PS2, you can play all the silent hill games, except for 0.
in any case, i'll lend you the second one, which in my opinion is the best of them.
don't worry about it being the second, the games are not chronologically linked.
the only true sequel in the series is 3, which is a sequel to 1.
i wouldn't play 1. it's okay, but in my opinion it's the worst of the series.
poor graphics, and sub par voice acting.
