I suppose when it concerns Renamon models, all roads lead back here, as your Renamon models is the best model I've ever come across, which leads me to ask where I might obtain that model of yours, as I could use a good Renamon model.

All your CG pic of Renamon are awesome.
Now... Do you think you can alter her model a bit to make Zoroark?

theoretical yes, but I have my exams in two weeks and so I can't test it, sorry I will continue my projects in August. When I find some time I will think about that.

Hello there!
I have a question about your Renamon model ;
See, the entire black area of her eyes, wich for humans is white, makes here having eyes too big if with a correctly sphere shape. So my question is, did you created them with a basic, sphere shape, but just to the size of the pupils, and then added an empty black space around them?
And is that so, if, as we can see in the anime, she looks behind, her pupil is suposed to shift in space the the back of her eye cavity. I guess it is possible to design something like that, and to set a RIG accordingly to that... Am i right?
Have a nice day, Tom.

No, it's a simple sphere not more^^ But it's not finished now. The final eyes will work like these of the Krystal rig created by LDragon . With reflections, a real lens and more shape morphs.

Do you think you could port your Krystal and Renamon models to Garry's Mod?
Sorry if you don't know how, I'm just wondering if its possible for you.

First, the Krystal model was created and rigged by CharleyFox and LDragon . I'm only a user of it. The Renamon model is created by KP-ShadowSquirrel . I only rigged it in DAZ Studio and made some very small mesh modifications not more.
Renamon are already ported by other people to GMod and is available for download. I don't use and support steam or steam related products in any way.

What program do you use to create your Krystal Fox drawings? They look like CGI Animation! It's epic!

Usually DAZ Studio 3, but next year I'm going to use Blender for rendering and animating.

Yes ~Mikiel2171 made a good one. I also work on a blender rig, but only for testing and learning for now.

DAZ Studio is good for beginners, but I would prefer Blender. I'm going to switch to Blender as soon as possible and get rid of DAZ Studio.

Errr... I dont study animation so what does that mean in english? :3

lycanarius In reply to renahugs [2013-10-18 20:14:07 +0000 UTC]
Simplified spoken: Rigging is the preparing of a given figure or model (also called mesh) for posing and animation. To achieve that you have to create a rig, or skeleton, and attach it to the figure. With this rig you can move the arms, legs and other the parts of the figure. But this is a really simplified explanation because rigging is a very complex task and has many subtasks like face rigging (expressions, mimic and so on) for an example. I could create a journal series about this topic but my English is to trashy for that^^
BTW: I didn't study it. I learned that all by my self

English is also not my first language. What level of math does one need to have in order to make those 3d arts? :3

lycanarius In reply to renahugs [2013-10-19 08:37:55 +0000 UTC]
It is recommended to have a basic understanding of the 3d coordinate system and vector algebra, but this is not necessary. Depending on what you like to do you can find many useful tutorials which help you to learn the basics.

renahugs In reply to lycanarius [2013-10-19 17:41:01 +0000 UTC]
So, basically, I must read some calculus, linear algebra and then vector algebra righties?
π: 0 β©: 1
lycanarius In reply to renahugs [2013-10-19 18:16:52 +0000 UTC]
It would help you to understand how 3d works but you can use tools like blender without it. I think it's Β better to download blender and watch some tutorials about modeling and the basics of blender then study vector algebra^^ The mathematics is more important for software developer like me who develop his own game engine^^
