I am loving GW mostly because of its location. DC is quite an intriguing city, and i have all the museums at my doorstep! Unfortunately, I haven't found my art-outlet yet here, and most of my art is made in my room to decorate my walls.
This year i've fallen in love with Irish lit - especially the works of joyce, heaney, yeats, becket...
where did you study?

oh right on about irish lit! my mentor was an irish history prof. i studied british history at a small private jesuit university that is not super well known. it's called santa clara university and is here in the san francisco bay area. i moved here from st. louis to go there and i liked it so much here that i stayed!
d.c. is an awesome place! the smithsonian moma is the place where i saw my first rothko (i think i was about 12) and fell in love with abstract impressionismism.
joyce is really hard going, huh? worth it, tho. heaney, is that seamus heaney the play write? if so, i've really enjoyed him. i have a lot of irish ancestory, so it all, esp. the history (i have a rebel spirit!) means a lot to me.
are you an undergrad? what do you intend to do as a profession? most of my art is all over my walls, too!
