# About me

I have been an artist since starting to draw as a young boy. I enjoyed taking many art classes in school. From drawings, I branched out with watercolors. I give a big thank you to my sister-in-law, JoLynne, also an artist, who inspired me to paint with acrylics and oils. From there my art world took off! I paint many of my favorite subjects, landscapes, wildlife, animals, pets, sunsets, seascapes, winter scenes, barns, fish, sports scenes and more. I like to also paint on saws, milk cans, bowling pins, etc. Once I painted a haunted house sign that was on a canvas three stories tall! I also carve and paint 'fish decoys' from wood. My favorite medium is acrylics, watercolors and pen & ink. My full time job is in Marine Insurance, but I enjoy painting as much as I can. Come back to my pages to check out newly posted artwork.
