1000 Pieces Of Stock Competition

Wow! So I finally made it. 1000 pieces of stock posted. I never imagined when I opened this account that it would get so big. I just wanted a place to post the odd textures and things that I had made when I was doing my artwork to give something back to the online art community. It seemed silly to have all these textures and things just on my computer which I had found useful when other people could be using them as well. At the time I had no job and very little money so it seemed the least I could do. I am constantly amazed and delighted at all the wonderful pieces of artwork that people make using my stock. It really makes my day when I see the links in my in-box :) (Smile) So I wanted to say THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who thinks my stock is good enough to use. Hi, Mark! Was nice meeting you and your wife last night!
Looked through here and am nicely impressed with both your photography and your 3D art!

Can't comment on everything, of course, but I really liked 'Fort Macon' (partly because I was there -many- years ago. ;-) (Wink) ), 'Water Lily', Glass Rainbow(both), the Appalachian shots, and others.

For the 3D art I particularly was drawn to the 'Floating City', (reminds me of some sci-fi stories), 'Dolphin Bay' (I've always heard water is particularly hard to do but yours look very good, both the calm and the splash). That's very nice texturing on the halberd -and- its glass handle.
